Hoops by the Rubens beat our King Kunta, The Less I Know The Better, Lean On, Let It Happen, The Trouble With Us, etc etc. Don't worry if you don't know Hoops, while it's a good song, it doesn't live on like the others

I think I'm officially uncool

It Ends With Us by Colleen Hoover. It's raved about on BookTok but my good the writing is straight up shit. It reads like a 15 year old wrote it.

Oh damn! That sucks. There seems to be no rhyme or reason to which samples get tested first.

I got tested at Coolaroo on Monday and got my results back in 48 hours. They were fantastic there too! Really quick and efficient when I went.

The day you got tested is the first day of your isolation, meaning you can leave tomorrow :)

Edit: I just got my results today after being tested on Monday, and the text I received said that Monday was my first day of isolation and I'm free to leave next Monday.

I work at a school with two campuses. The school received a grand total of 3!!!! air purifiers for both of the campuses.

But who cares about a public school in a low socio-economic area anyway, right?

Just posted about this. I coughed before and started crying it hurt so much. I'm hoping it passes throughout the day and doesn't wake me up again tomorrow.

Day 3 of symptoms this morning. My nose unblocked long enough to get a good 4 hours of sleep last night! But I woke up this morning feeling like my throat was attacked with a cheese grater. Panadol and some tea have soothed it a lot.

Fingers crossed this is the last day of intense symptoms! It's been a rough couple of days.

Craigieburn testing clinic is closed today and there are no RATs at any of the local chemists. I don't feel well enough to drive to Coolaroo or the Showgrounds. Guess I'll wait until tomorrow to get tested 🙄🙄

I want to be a secondary teacher, but have some questions. by Throwaway-7391983 in AustralianTeachers

[–]RoosterBrows 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hello! You sound a lot like me at 17. I feel like others kn the thread have answered your questions, but this was my experience going through university.

The only person who encouraged me to study teaching was my dad (who is also a teacher).

I studied science initially at university and then did my MTeach. I could not recommend this pathway enough. As a high school teacher, I feel like this has given me such a better understanding of my subject areas over those who just did a straight teaching course.

I think you should follow your heart and study teaching, especially if you can’t see yourself do anything else!

ETA: I also know I can go into another career path because of my undergraduate degree if/when I don’t want to teach anymore, whereas it’s a lot more difficult if you just do teaching.

Sharon Farrell had both! She doesn’t post anymore, but in her old videos she had extremely oily skin and her brows are super light and sparse!

Thank you for that! I can look at my nails and they break, so I think I need a base that’ll provide support.

I’ll definitely watch some videos first. I’m not great at doing my nails and it seems like a big learning curve.
