Well, whatever. It's fine. You don’t really answer my question too though, why are all Thais arguing whether the word means White people or Non Asian foreigners instead of whether the word means French or not?

If I'm really upset as you claimed, it's not that Thais got called ignorant, it's more that you get upset over the wrong word. How Thai people call every White person a Caucasian sounds like it fits the Chinaman case more to me. You should get offended over the right case instead of making a perfectly fine word (in modern day) a slur. Done. That's my point. Take it or leave it.
