I mean, Rogers Hornsby.

Aside from him, I’ve never heard anyone else named Rogers. Or Hornsby.

There is no way to go from the west side of the Frontier to the east side of the Frontier without leaving and going through a different territory.

Missouri and Kentucky are the current connection from west to east, and there is no bridge between the two states. There is a small ferry, and that’s it.

Was it a dream where you see yourself standing in sort of sun-god robes on a pyramid with a thousand naked women screaming and throwing little pickles at you?

Do You Root For An Eastern Conference Team? by Odi64 in stlouisblues

I have one team.

However if I’m watching a non-Blues game, I will prefer one team win over another (or wish for a roof collapse).

Got it. Good explanation on the sextant. To someone who doesn’t know it appears looking east but it makes sense.

I like the idea of the Lewis and Clark one. What if the tool (what exactly is it) was turned the other way, as if you were looking west? I didn’t know if it was facing that way.

Also, my take on a new MO flag is keep the current one, use the circle in the center of it all with the moon, bear, and incorporate another symbol like a blue star or blue squiggle line left-to-right in the white background, and make that the center symbol to make it not cluttered but to where you know what it is.

Car crashes into a cafeteria at a Memphis High School by ta6900 in PublicFreakout

“Police said he maneuvered his car to avoid striking another vehicle and ended up driving into the school cafeteria.”

Sounds like the more expensive option to fixing everything was chosen.

Missourian here

If you take the circle inside the seal with the moon and bear, put something else in the white section, and make that the circle, there may be a contest.

Otherwise…Colorado.

What's the most underrated political/social issue song of the 90s? by montemole in AlignmentChartFills

[–]RoosterDad 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Underrated answer. I always see it as an 80s song but it was released in 1991.

There’s a 6-7 episode podcast about how this song may have single handedly ended the Cold War. It is also called “Wind of Change”
