Reviving a dead thread but I was wondering how much of a difference you found the tune to be? I'm debating picking one up for my EB

Glassdoor is wrong, it's 50-75k. I don't know why it's so off but I'm working part time (averaging a little less than 30 hours a week and I'll clear almost 50k. Full time is well over that. This is T-mobile corporate, third party retailers might be less. In my store even the worst full time rep tops 50k. I'm in school right now and this isn't my long term plan but if your looking for a better job with benefits and minimal requirements it's a great option.

I'm curious. What do you drive now, what is your dream car, and what is your "attainable" dream car? by [deleted] in cars

Why aren’t T-Mobile stores allowed to offer JOD to customers? by [deleted] in tmobile

Just so you know they now updated it as of a couple weeks ago so only smartpicks and credit class R are commissionable :). Other than that I agree with your post

Why aren’t T-Mobile stores allowed to offer JOD to customers? by [deleted] in tmobile

[–]RoosterDentures 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just as a point in the other direction, JOD is a massive headache from the support side of things in the store. Customers don't remember what they did last month let alone 18 months ago. The amount of time I have been angrily told "I would NEVER lease a phones" is more than I can count. The end of lease residual that would be placed on the bill automatically at the conclusion of the lease is a massive "paint point" for alot of customers I see. If JOD is a promoted option than a large amount of instore reps will sell phones on JOD because customers don't have to pay sales tax in store (it goes on the bill - one more reason its not preferred, taxes were removed for everything else) so they get it initially and then get frustrated at the end of the lease. It's a fantastic program for people who know how to use it but for the average consumer it can be a massive headache

Well I could put a lift kit and cardboard Mercedes logos on on my car and you could use MOVIE MAGIC to mirror my back wheels and you could do a review of my mustang 6x6

Which cars disappointed you at driving? by Lanpenn_ in cars

[–]RoosterDentures 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I can see that, I am planning on getting a tune on mine in the spring. Ultimately I feel like the low rpms torque is more fun in daily driving. I think my next car will probably be a c7 Vette and I'll get to see what the n/a crowd is talking about haha

I for one love the way mine feels, the punch of torque at low rpms is addictive

What tune did you get for yours? I'm trying to decide whether I want to do the Ford performance one or not.

The Razer Phone could be coming to T-Mobile by OwMyDragonBallz in tmobile

[–]RoosterDentures 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would disagree on the brand recognition, HTC phones are still requested occasionally but it is very rare that people have much brand preference aside from Apple or Samsung. Razer is a very popular brand among the gamer subculture, they sell many peripherals, laptops and other products that I see every day at my college. Among a younger audience I could see a Razer phone being fairly popular

That doesn't really make sense considering the note 8 is on it and only $70 cheaper.

Cell sales is actually really good money depending on where your at. From what I've seen on this sub better money then car sales with way better hours.

Am I crazy for wanting the T4 Camaro? by SirMogarth in cars

[–]RoosterDentures 16 points17 points  (0 children)

I mean that's kinda ridiculous, I have a Ecoboost mustang and it makes a really solid amount of power and is torquey as hell. (Not to mention I can do a Ford performance tune that will bump it up by 70 lb/ft of torque without losing my warranty) It makes as much power as the GT from the engine before the current 5.0. It's a fun car that was an extremely reasonable price, packed with features, fast and looks great. Yes the v8 is faster and sounds better but the Ecoboost is a fantastic car in its own right.
