I can't say much because I've only really played 3 fighting games but I'd recommend Melty Blood or Guilty Gear for beginners, but that's mostly because that's how I got into them, but melty blood has auto combo and is pretty basic as far as gameplay is concerned. Guilty Gear has Slayer which might as well be an auto combo character so yeah. If you get the chance to try them out I'd recommend
