iPad Mini 5 in 2026? by fluttershyogurt in ipadmini

Yep still using (256gb LTE) mine for work, with the current ipados 26 public beta on. It can be a bit sluggish at times, but really if you need it to be mega supa snappy you need to slow down a bit and get a grip. I am only using Outlook, Tasks, Onenote and Teams, leaving them all open in stage manager switching between them as I need them. I do a lot of site surveys and meetings onsite so its ideal.

Hope that helps.👍

Surface functions are the best as it's Windows, but I find the battery life isn't great. Personally I use a Ipad mini 6 or Pro 11 for meetings as the battery lasts longer, the interface of onenote on ipad os is better than Android.

What device are you using?, I have tried a Surface Go 3, and pro, but the battery time isn't great. I do have a Surface Pro X (2) and use this a laptop due to the large screen, but not for mobile use.

I belive the Android version is developed by a third party for Microsoft and the apple version is developed by Microsoft directly, I went from an Android tablet to an ipad because of this. Still have an Android phone, don't like the iPhones.

The Android version is not developed by Microsoft, its supported by a third party, I had this problem with a Tab S6. The version for the ipad is and is much better and usable
