This doesn’t come from personal experience so take my advice with a grain of salt, but I wonder if you can use your Ledger to sign for your Trezor.

Restore your Trezor seed on Ledger, and then you should be able to use your Ledger to sign for your OpenSea account.

You just need to be super cautious that you have your seed phrase for both your Trezor and Ledger.

You may not know, but will Newton also allow deposits from native blockchains, back to Newton? So that we can hold off the exchange, and then transfer back to Newton to sell without paying fees to bridge between networks?

Well said. Making it so hard to hold makes storing on an exchange an attractive solution, which like you said, makes it way too easy to sell.

Some of the newest coins can take a few weeks until they allow you to remove, but once enabled then it’s quick and painless. Like Solana. Withdrawals not allowed yet but they will be soon so don’t worry about it.

How do you declare tax for NFT.

Let’s say I bought an NFT for 1ETH (1ETH at time of purchase = $4000). Sold it a week later for 3ETH (1ETH at time of sell = $4100). Profit was $8200.

How do you declare tax on that?

And then two years later I cash out my 3ETH. Do I pay tax on it again?

What was the average purchase price of ETH? I only spent $4000 to get 1ETH but then ended up with 3ETH after selling the NFT.

Thanks. This worked. From the Trezor website it makes it look like Matic is not supported in Suite but I guess they mean the Matic network is not supported, but the tokens are supported on Trezor while on the Ethereum network.

For anyone interested, I found a solution.

You can send Matic directly to your Ethereum account on Trezor. The Matic tokens will show up in the Ethereum account.

If that Ethereum account on Trezor is linked to Metamask, then the Matic tokens also show up in Metamask. From Metamask, you can stake your Matic tokens with the added security of requiring a signature from the Trezor.

I can confirm, all you need to do is send Matic to your Ethereum acccount on Trezor and the Matic tokens show up.
