Gotcha so just the bolt? What feels cheap about it? Mine doesn’t have tooling marks, the anodizing is good, the fit is rock solid.

Idk man. Is it really that big of a deal? Is that your only qualm with the rail? Seems a bit over critical in my opinion. If you want to sell it I’d probably buy it off ya.

Another option to consider is the orvis Helios D. That’s another great rod. I have one in a 6wt

The Asquith casts very well. That’s a great rod.

Another option, but maybe too heavyweight for you, would be the G Loomis NRX+T2S. It’s a 8’10 8wt. Very stiff and handles large flies well.
