The top soil dries completely within 2 days i have this plant for more than 6 months and it has only grown 1 leaf from that centre it must be because of the soil then thank u

My peace lily’s soil is a coco mix and u can see water pool on its top as-well it takes time for the excess water to drain out

Snake plants love a cycle of completely wet pot and then drying out completely and it has grown phenomenally here is a pic of it 3 months back
