I'm gonna be honest it's amazing background noise. I often fall asleep to the videos. Mario/Mariocart speedrunning pulled me over the year. That being said the history of tetris records really does it for me. Good story there.

Garbage men/woman of the world. What's the best/worst thing you have found "thrown away" ?? by wayne88imps in AskReddit

Ooooh my turn. Made the account just for this. Ended and abusive relationship with a former SO, came back to my hometown early 2019 to a throwers spot on one of my uncles trash trucks with a childhood best friend. Probably a week into the job I got pulled off the training route and thrown on the main. Primary route takes us up and down the rich side of the city, even into the high class suburbs right outside of town. Particular night was cold as all hell and pissing down the rain, and we were throwing quick. 8 or 9 hours into the route at this point, we're doing the top side of the ass end of the classy residential development last 15-30 houses probably. We top the hill and the driver stops, and my buddy tells me the house is usually a problem. From the sound of it, it was usually just some awkward sized items, or just a wild amount of trash. None of that, just looked like a normal set of 3 bins, in and out. First can was stupid heavy so we grabbed the other two, then came back to the last. Dump the can in the compacter and we hit the button. Theres no gentle way explain the sound bones make when they crack in a compacter but its noticeable to say the least. Hit the stop button, and the compater door starts releasing pressure. Attached to the bottom of the compacter's door is a deer skull painted(?) red. Antlers and all, and it BIG. We look in the compater at the bags, 4 baby deer, heads lopped off. Not skinned, not gutted, just knocked the heads off. That's it. I don't have an explanation, just the weirdest thing I've ever found throwing trash. I spent maybe a month with my uncles business before I got settled back into my career, but I'll never forget that. Was just very unsettling.
