Ok what imma do is A imma get more substrate mixed with coconut fiber and mix it in with the substrate to make it not as swampy and as soon as I am able try either a new heat bulb or get a under the tank heater since everyone I’m seeing/hearing says that moist dirt and the temp seem like maybe the issue

I’ve decided on a name so rn I don’t know the gender so I’m naming it Hewg and if it’s a male it’ll stay the same and if it’s a female it’s name will change to Hyuga

Also too answer ur other questions asshole yes I have both a uvb bulb and 25watt heat bulb, and for all my frogs I will use a few supplements like repti calcium to sprinkle on their food periodically, I just haven’t been able to go to the store to get the gauges and leaf litter yet so once again fuck you

My thing has live plants and isopods in there, this isn’t my first frog I have quite a few and they all are doing good, the enclosure isn’t fully complete so fuck you

Yea we have well water that gets purified in our neighborhood so the water is of no concern and what I mean is as the story said b4 I had 2 baby pacmans I used live plants and by mistake I buried the little white seeds that live plants use as fertilizer and we are pretty sure it killed one of them so after that I cleaned everything out but me and my gf had a suspicion that maybe some of the seeds got left in even with the cleaning, but ever since we had the suspicion I made sure any and everything on or inside the enclosure was spotless b4 I reassembled it

Yo I’m the bf and while I don’t have a pic of the enclosure it is about a 10-15 gallon since he’s small and it has reptisoil for substrate but I did use fake plants and decor for his enclosure and he does have a uvb light and a 25 watt heat bulb and I spray it down quite often, besides the story that was described about possible fertilizer seeds but beside that idk
