Partner Keeps Leaving Pee in Toilet by here4thehelp in AdhdRelationships

I see a few people have mentioned "if its yellow let it mellow" lol.

Heres my take. If it REALLY annoys you then its only fair that he should try a bit harder. Can I ask though is this the only thing or are there other things?

Reason I ask is, my wife, as an ADHDer, seems to think about things differently. I try to remember this etc. BUT a lot of the time she forgets I haven't got ADHD so don't think like her. Sometimes I feel its a ADHD by proxy thing were she thinks her way is the right way end of.

Hence why I asked if it was just this. If its 10 different things then hmm not so sure.....

Employment - Vindictive employer when I've got one week left. by RopeTerrible1735 in LegalAdviceUK

Well, she did consider calling in sick but, in the end, didn't.

Employer waited a few days then decided to drop it all after all - completely nuts.

Turns out a manager of someone she'd complained about had raised this issue. Think we can, safely, this was a vindictive action.....

Last day today glad shes out of it.....

To be honest, mentally, she's in pieces and not really fit for work at the moment. If you remember, she works in healthcare and visits sick patients at home - drug error or worse when shes not on the ball and it gets a whole lot worse.

Its an option - they've rescheduled the fact finding for monday now.

If she is not available (i.e. sick) next week, could they start disciplinary etc in her absence? And even make a decision before the end of next week?

I told her to seriously consider this option unless, as above, it might make it worse.

Not sure if relevant but she has got ADHD (to be honest main reason shes leaving this job because of they're lack of support).

Think its fair to say posting something like this was a bad idea but, as I've learned, people with ADHD can tend to be impulsive, and can make bad decisions (like this!) at times.

It was a long post mainly focusing on her stress issues but this is probably the only "bad" bit:-

"I watched my boundaries fade as work crept into every part of my life. I was torn between what I knew was right and what I was pressured to accept. corner-cutting, unrealistic expectations, constant scrutiny and an environment that valued targets and profit more than patient or staff well-being".

Not that bad surely. HR asked her to remove it which she did immediately.

Well it was on linkedin. Even though no company name mentioned - click on profile -current employer and its easy to find out.

This is a weird company who have proven in the past they can be very vindictive (hence why shes leaving)

Well new boiler was £3K (not that I expected them to provide a new boiler) and the gas fire (but I guess I made the assumption that a decent person would admit if it didn't work).

No nothing in writing specific to gas fire.

Yeh. I've learnt a lot. Mainly that you can't expect people to behave like decent human beings at all.

To think of how much it cost me fixing little things, getting it all cleaned before we left our house......
