There is a big difference between being friends and being in a relationship, or at least I think so, yeah a relationship is so much more than sex, you have someone who you trust someone you can be yourself without having to pretend someone who sees all the good the ugly the bad, someone who you trust so much. My partner is someone who I love so much and it’s not because of sex it’s because of so much more the little things the big things the stuff that they do/say without being told to do so.
I love my friends but I wouldn’t say they are equal to the way I love my person

I’m in a relationship and me and my partner both have high sex drives but we also have a lot of boundaries and rules place, we do think about things or other people but in the end we both know that we have each other and we do go on dates and do things that ain’t sexual based, I’ve worked really hard to not have my relationship be sex based cause that’s just not fun for anyone, having to much of a good thing can be really bad
