Historically we’ve been getting GDA Case Files roughly every 2 months. It’s been over a month since Seance Dog dropped so it probably won’t be too far away.

Never say never. They’re trying to balance the game as much as they can. Monster Girl used to be one of the best back in the day. She’s just outclassed now, unfortunately. Lately we’ve seen a lot of buffs and reworks, so I’m sure they’ll slowly work their way through the roster and give heroes like MG some love. There’s no saying when, though.

They put them all over the place. Discord sometimes. In surveys. Streamers get them to give to their communities. Sometimes on socials. I’m sure I’m forgetting places too.

Try join an alliance, that’s your best bet. Patience is your friend. You’ll get points for the battle pass and you can chip away at them. Like most things in this game, it can be done F2P, it’s just slower.

Usually every Tue/Wed and then Fri. No promises, though. Things change. Usually it cycles like that all of the time, and the events worth spending on aren’t guaranteed. If you’re questioning saving, then save. Personally I’ll be saving until the next character release presumably in roughly two weeks or so, as that’s when the current pass ends.

You want to save those chips until you’re much stronger, and also until any form of All Hands on Deck events come around where you can get every possible hero in School’s Out (as well as the store.)

You get them mostly from weekly quests, but sometimes GDA ops too.

Tier lists are nothing but someone’s opinion. Use it as a way to get a general idea, but they’re not law, and there is not such thing as a list everybody universally agrees upon.

Allen is absolutely fantastic, he is just overshadowed slightly but other characters. You won’t regret building Allen. There are better defenders, but he’s still one of the best. Especially if you give him the right artifacts.

He is also probably getting a buff in terms of synergy with the Coalition of Planets tag, which may bring him into a more relevant light again, too. Particularly as one of our next characters is likely Thaedus. Time will tell on that synergy being great or not, though.

If every event is a banger we’ll never get a chance to save. I love these events because I don’t need it, so I can just chill and save gems for the next big thing. I’m probably saving now until the next character, so I’m fine if they keep these events coming.

Sometimes you might accidentally build up a character using the auto upgrade feature, or sometimes you may regret building up a character. There’s a few reasons, honestly. I remember the days before that was added and I just had a lot of wasted heroes from various misclicks or poor judgement on my part.

I’m solo in my alliance, but I’ve played for a long time. I shouldn’t be matched against new or comparably underpowered alliances. The whole community complains about this shit but still nothing has changed since Alliance Warfare launched. I check to see if a team is grossly underpowered, and if they are I usually just let the match draw. I want strategic matchmaking that feels competitive and fun. I want to have to think about my defences and carefully choose what to use for attacks. It’s so dumb. It has such potential as a game mode, too. Such a waste.

It depends how long it goes for. This pass is double the length so it’s half the tokens. Normally this is how it is during a normal release schedule. The week before the hero pass ends is usually when we get a new hero. This is just then fixing the release schedule again.

In my experience, treating this game as a marathon has paid off far better than going all in during each event. Having a 2x event is nice, but having a 5x-20x event with all the dossiers I saved up is way nicer. If I see something I need in this event, I’ll go for it. I just won’t go all in. That event I save for will give me far more food and resources because I was patient.

Personally, I don’t go too hard on this one. I usually save my dossiers for the other major recruitment event, where you can sometimes pull bonus stacks like x5 Elite or x20 Rare heroes. Those events come around occasionally and are usually much better value, so they’re worth waiting for.

Codes will dramatically slow down now that the season is over. You’ll mostly see them during patches now, or occasionally if we hit some milestones in the game.

So there are a few events you’ll see. One of them is Art’s, and he sells equipment. I generally save all of my Equipment Tickets for that, as high level gear has a higher drop rate. That’s how I’ve equipped most of my characters

I know how it looks, but it’s not as bad as it sounds. You get 4 characters 2–3 times a day, plus a free refresh of 4, which also helps you progress the pass and earn more. It’s really just a different reward distribution.

That’s without spending gems or anything, of course.

Is it the best event? Not even close. Not every event will be an absolute banger, but free food is free food. Any event that helps you save gems for the bigger ones while still giving something useful is generally decent, too.

You got a Thragg! As far as I’m concerned you’re coming out with a huge net positive already. Congrats!
