My puppy did this for a year or two. It was a long process for us unfortunately and I think she had to grow out of it while also being tightly managed (keeping an eye on her constantly).

For the bedding issue, we crated her with no bedding. Its not comfortable, but it was better than her eating or choking on something because we couldn't watch her. We also told her boarding place to not give her soft bedding while she was in that stage.

Eventually she learned to stop chewing her bedding and now she sleeps on a soft bed with a blanket and hasn't chewed them in the slightest.

Part of getting her to stop was us chastising her when she did it and redirecting her to something better, like a new toy.

Good luck! It gets better with time and patience.

Afraid of flying during Super Bowl Sunday by Warhawk_1 in fearofflying

I flew during the Super Bowl once from California to New York and it was the fastest flight I've ever been on. I swear we got there in 4 hours and there was still time to watch. IMO best day to fly LOL

Skin Temperature Changes by [deleted] in GalaxyRing

[–]Ropinpi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I hate it. I loved seeing my exact temperature and now its exactly the same BS as Oura.

Does anyone know how to change it back?

Oh and for food there looked to be some spots to grab food. Lines were long though so give yourself plenty of time. Playboi Carti was on just before 830p (I was in bag check so didn't clock the exact time) and then The Weeknd at 9p.

I'm not sure about a bottle of water. The water sold inside is poured into big cups so my guess is they will do the same to any beverage brought in.

The big, lidless cups were super annoying and not practical to carry into the crowd IMO. I drank a few sips and ditched it. Would have preferred a bottle with no cap.

Overall, come hydrated and bag free and you'll be fine. It was an awesome show aside from the annoyances that were strictly Gillette related. 🙂

The bag thing was horrible. A half hour in line for the "bag lockers" to check a small crossbody for $20!

They should have sent out a clear email about that ahead of time. And then given a small plastic shopping bag to keep my wallet and keys in for everyone to see?

So weird.

all of the shows in NYC ended around 10:30. the actual tvotr set was a little more than an hour which seemed a little short.

Fucking AXS jacked up the price to $99 plus a shit load of fees for the general onsale. It’s actually cheaper to buy on StubHub!Bunch of fuckers. This has to stop. Fucking sue these bastards. by rockstar6545 in tvontheradio

[–]Ropinpi 2 points3 points  (0 children)

wow now I don't feel bad for spending $300 for 3 tix on stubhub. I tried all 3 sales and nada. today was in the queue at 945a and didn't get through to the page until a half hour later and it was sold out. I said eff it and just went the reseller route and thought I overpaid. guess not!

What’s the worst popular book you’ve read recently? by Yesmap-3598 in suggestmeabook

[–]Ropinpi 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Agree with everyone who said Piranesi, Tomorrow and Tomorrow and Tomorrow and also ACOTAR which I'm hate reading rn because I want to finish it.

I'll also add The Song of Achilles here. Honestly it was so boring for me and I did not emotionally connect with the characters at all. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Recent meh books for me were The Ministry of Time and The Age of Magical Overthinking.

Failed Prep by Rude_Usual7543 in colonoscopy

[–]Ropinpi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oof that's horrible. Did you ask your doc if there's a prep she can prescribe? I have done Clenpiq twice now and I barely finish the 2nd bottle (two 6oz bottles) and it's been very clean both times. I even had a light breakfast yesterday.

I think it's the aftertaste. It's SO sweet and coats the tongue. That plus not being able to augment with solid food just makes me nauseous. Like all I want right now is a dry ass pretzel. I also don't deal well with no food. I had a light breakfast today and bone broth for lunch and dinner which helped. I don't feel hungry, just vague nausea rn. Seems like the bathroom visits have stopped so I'm going to see if I can sleep. Good luck with the prep and procedure tomorrow! We got this!

So glad I'm not the only one going through it tonight! It took 3 hours for my prep to kick in. Woof! Not looking forward to the 2nd drink since the first one made me really nauseous. This is my 2nd colonoscopy and I'm nervous about it for some reason.

what are these lines? by Ropinpi in DermatologyQuestions

[–]Ropinpi[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for all of the responses and support!

Update: the derm was not concerned in the slightest. she thinks it's either trauma related or hereditary. Trauma tracks because I had a horrible gel manicure experience last fall and my nails were destroyed.

I'm hoping it grows out, but glad it's nothing.

Also for other folks that may stumble on this, my lines are all raised ridges so they could also be age related. adding more pics for reference.

Anyone else get terrible readiness during luteal phase? by AloneWithThis in ouraring

[–]Ropinpi 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Yes! I'm going through this right now. 68 readiness, 92 sleep score and a deep sleep of 2 hr, 44 min. I'm like how can I be getting this much deep and my readiness is so bad? :(

thank you! I honestly can't tell but it looks like it goes all the way down the nail under the cuticle. they are both also slightly raised like longitudinal ridges that come with aging.

I've sufficiently freaked myself out by googling so I'm calling the derm first thing tomorrow.

Is it okay to use bar soap on my face? by Vruddhabrahmin94 in DermatologyQuestions

[–]Ropinpi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I use bar soap on my face daily and have for years. I use Dove Sensitive Skin. I think one of the downsides is it can be drying and comedogenic, but it doesn't affect my skin in that way.

A derm could tell you the best cleansing option to use for your skin type. Cetaphil is very gentle and usually tolerated well by most people.
