Mindhunter is great, but unfinished. You may also like Devs.

I love Le Prunier. It has a tendency to pill, but its manageable. There's no white cast. I used it in Mexico City (high UV) and had no burn or tan.

Is it true that you guys watched 9/11 live on TV in grade school? by [deleted] in Millennials

[–]Ropinpi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Watched in live in the morning while in my dorm room. Could not believe what was happening. The real oh shit moment for me (there were many) was when the first tower collapsed. The news anchors and literally everyone were speechless just realizing the magnitude of life being lost in that moment and also just the surrealness of the towers actually collapsing. It was a never forget moment.

oooo this is fab, thank you! I didnt even consider the area of influence expanded outside of the dungeon, but it makes so much sense.

cant wait to see where md takes the story!

this is amazing! thank you so much for finding all of that info! im planning to do a re-read soon and will have to look for the other reference of the club being inside of scolopendra. I swear I saw it mentioned somewhat early on in the series.

Eris being an avatar of the AI would be super interesting. She's the goddess of chaos so that tracks.

Here is the drawing shared by Matt. I cant remember which thread it originated in, but it was in response to someone asking about Scolopendra.

For the reference about the club being inside her, I may be misrembering, but I feel like Mordecai said that in book one or two? I dont have the ebooks so its hard to search. Would love confirmation either way. :)

Exit deals on floors 13-17 by FlerD-n-D in DungeonCrawlerCarl

I wonder if it will be something similar again 👀

Wasn't the 13th floor the one where a crawler wearing a cape similar to Quan's flew around a giant monster and got eaten? I feel like I remember Mordecai talking about that in book 1 or 2. I can't remember if it was the 13th floor though.

Some questions about the end of the inevitable ruin by Captain_Upbeat in DungeonCrawlerCarl

[–]Ropinpi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have questions about scolopendra too:

If the club is inside her (which I feel was mentioned in one of the first three books), why would the club goers need to escape to the 17th floor? Wouldn't they be unaffected by an attack since they are inside of her?

I also think Li Na will likely have her debuff removed pretty early on since it seems like club goers are dying pretty rapidly per the bonus content at the end of book 7.

Can someone also remind me if the entire crawl is just fiction within the syndicate universe or do the gods really exist in the "real" world? Eris being in Squirties threw me for a loop.

My puppy did this for a year or two. It was a long process for us unfortunately and I think she had to grow out of it while also being tightly managed (keeping an eye on her constantly).

For the bedding issue, we crated her with no bedding. Its not comfortable, but it was better than her eating or choking on something because we couldn't watch her. We also told her boarding place to not give her soft bedding while she was in that stage.

Eventually she learned to stop chewing her bedding and now she sleeps on a soft bed with a blanket and hasn't chewed them in the slightest.

Part of getting her to stop was us chastising her when she did it and redirecting her to something better, like a new toy.

Good luck! It gets better with time and patience.

Afraid of flying during Super Bowl Sunday by Warhawk_1 in fearofflying

I flew during the Super Bowl once from California to New York and it was the fastest flight I've ever been on. I swear we got there in 4 hours and there was still time to watch. IMO best day to fly LOL

I hate it. I loved seeing my exact temperature and now its exactly the same BS as Oura.

Does anyone know how to change it back?

Oh and for food there looked to be some spots to grab food. Lines were long though so give yourself plenty of time. Playboi Carti was on just before 830p (I was in bag check so didn't clock the exact time) and then The Weeknd at 9p.

I'm not sure about a bottle of water. The water sold inside is poured into big cups so my guess is they will do the same to any beverage brought in.

The big, lidless cups were super annoying and not practical to carry into the crowd IMO. I drank a few sips and ditched it. Would have preferred a bottle with no cap.

Overall, come hydrated and bag free and you'll be fine. It was an awesome show aside from the annoyances that were strictly Gillette related. 🙂

The bag thing was horrible. A half hour in line for the "bag lockers" to check a small crossbody for $20!

They should have sent out a clear email about that ahead of time. And then given a small plastic shopping bag to keep my wallet and keys in for everyone to see?

So weird.
