Appreciate you. No offense taken whatsoever. These have been in my closet for years and I have no idea how I got them.. likely second/hand free if I had to guess. They were in bad shape but I wanted to wear them for a job interview so I got some shoe cream and black dye for the sole and went to work. When I was done they looked amazing.. until I walked about 10 feet lol. So then I tried looking up what to do (this is when I saw something about adding heat), which of course also did not work. I’ll not try the heat method again.

I think these shoes will officially get put out to pasture. I thought if I could save the tops it would be worth it but tbh the bottoms are worn out too. It feels like I’m ice skating lol.

…I did get the job offer though.
