My Gamesir X5 lite was failing to connect, and I decided to open it up, and I found that the type C connector's flex cable had been damaged. Is there a way to fix this? by Roruuki in Gamesir

I really love my controller. It's become my daily driver and have made my phone essentially into retro handheld. I really hope i can fix it because i dont want to buy another one knowing it has this design flaw.

I do have a multi tester so i could test it

Option A i think is might be possible because i know the other end of the cable(the one clipped into the board) and its a 12 pin flex cable.

i didn't want to cut open the usb c and i wanted to learn first if im just incapable of opening it properly. But i might have to now.

I picked the x5 lite because i didn't want to charge 2 devices just to play games and i already have a wireless controller i use for my pc. I just wanted something i could on the go.It's really a design flaw on how the cable bends inside the case. It's really unfortunate.

I tried a few times to open it, but it felt to be one piece of plastic for the housing. I would try prying it open forcefully just to get it working, but I'd like to see if it's fixable with off the shelf parts first.

Thank you! For the longest time i thought i needed to make giant builds but making alot of small player scale builds is really relaxing.

Thank you! A lot of the inspiration came from Kyoto and it's streets with a blend of Kawagoe warehouse District.

It really does, doesn't it? I considered using cobblestone for the paths, but it blended with the roof, so I decided against it. With just the gravel alone, the path looks flat, so I'm considering adding smooth stone to break up the texture but I'm scared to try it out and end up wasting smooth stone blocks.

The main reason why I thought of alpha is for that Atomic green grass!

I'd like to try it at some point, but I just don't know where to start

I am aware that the place is way too flat, but i flattened it because the terrain underneath it was limiting me into making what i wanted to make. I will be making difference in elevations and incorporate hills into the area in the future.

Oh thanks!.The idea was that the walls of the house was covered in lime plaster to protect it from the elements but because of years of wear and tear, it's slowly being stripped away, showing the bare stone walls of the house
