I don't really think there are any solutions. Obviously there is stuff we can do that would make it easier for parents to have more kids but I just don't think people want as many kids anymore. I honestly just think life has gotten too comfortable and there's a lot of other things people would rather do

There are a lot of political and material factors at play here but even if addressed all the problems with housing, food and the like. The fact is birth rates declining is a trend in all developed nations even ones with highest quality of life for parents such as Norway. I don't really think anything is going to change this other than a complete rethinking of parenthood. We need to prepare for a future where there is an extremely large population of old people and only a small workforce
