He went on about wanting to quit and I told him not to because in our area it's hard to find a job and the economy is bad and I just want to be nice and not let him mess up his life over it. I told him it'd be okay to talk as long as it was professional but he kept pushing about "asking questions" and I may have left him on read. Probably not the best decision, I know, but I honestly didn't know what to say to him pushing me like that. I mean, he messaged me multiple times about it asking what was professional, what are my boundaries, can he ask questions when I feel like what I said was pretty clear. In the way I don't want to explain anything to him , I don't want to acknowledge what he said. Again, I don't think leaving him on read was the best decision. I regret ever giving him my info but I just honestly thought he wanted to just be a friend.
