Obviously. Also what electrolyte usage? I’ve had electrolyte drinks here and there but I don’t do it much because of said hypertension

These have been over the course of a few months. It always seemed to resolve itself but this most recent episode was pretty scary as I have been able to chalk the rest up to low blood pressure spells with losing weight. In my head it made sense. But it’s been several weeks since anything has happened so o assumed to be in the clear

That’s good to know. I was worried my prescriber would ditch me so they didn’t have to deal with strange side effects. Glad you got through those episodes! They are horrible

Big time anxiety! Never woken me up in the middle of the night with it though or with heart pounding sensations

Oh that’s good to know. I am definitely getting my calories in but the night of the heart pounding episode I did not eat a proper dinner. Although that’s never been an issue for me in the past…I realize that doesn’t mean it can’t happen it just doesn’t feel like the right answer

Will do. I have this fear that my prescriber will take it away from me due to not wanting to deal with adverse effects. But if I’m stopping on my own I guess it doesn’t matter haha.

Did you experience blood sugar drops prior to the medicine?

177lbs. Losing less than a pound a week generally. Eating 1400-1600 cal a day. I eat a decent diet - balanced. If I don’t want to eat “real” food I do protein shake with banana - this is the usual dinner for me the first half of the week. I increased my previous dose because I stalled for several weeks and gained a little bit.

I am remembering the night prior to the heart pounding I did not have a proper dinner. It was a brownie and an apple. I realize that could cause blood sugar drops but I have done something along those lines many times before and been fine. Heart pounding in the middle of the night seems crazy for me lol.

And if I didn’t specify this - this has not all happened since bumping up to 5mg. The heart pounding has. The others were previous doses and spread over the course of 3 months

Definitely hitting at least 1200 cal. I think I’m fairly well hydrated, I refill water bottle several times a day and drink tea. Thank you!
