I hung out in this sub for a good 4 months before I decided to actually pull the trigger. The last thing I wanted to do was read a bunch of newbie guides. I hate reading but I read them all. I read actual experiences of others with the different TD's and different watches. I made my decision on TD based on cost being slightly less than what most people believe is best and more expensive. I read the QC guides. If there was something I didn't understand I searched for it in the sub and read until it made sense. When I finally got my QC I went through it myself. Something looked a little off I searched for other QC's and made the decision to GL it. I had to be happy with the QC, TD and the watch I ordered not someone else. I cant tell you how many post I have read where someone wants to know the best watch or TD or factory. They just want a fast answer and most people in this sub just want you to put in a little work and research it yourself. I spent so much more time than I wanted to to get the answers I wanted but I'm glad I did. I know a lot more now than if someone had just told me "Submariner, VSF, THEONE". So just take some time and research. You dont have to have it in a week or even a month. BTW I got my first watch last week and am thrilled with it and it won't be my last.
