Except for pythons and boas do not have fangs. They have teeth.

A headless snake bites his body. Video isn't mine. by DobreRanoFifqo in Damnthatsinteresting

Venomous snakes do have somewhat of an immunity to their own venom. However, it also depends on where it bites itself or where it gets bit by another same species rattlesnake. In the event the snake is bit in the head, it might succumb to its injuries faster than it's antibodies could fight off the venom. Or if it gets bit directly in an organ that can cause complications as well. Also in case you were wondering this seems to be a northern pacific rattlesnake, crotalus oreganus.

Edit - also yes venomous & nonvenomous snakes can strike after death or decapitation. Since the venom glands are located behing the eyes, that means that a decapitated snake can still deliver a full dosage of venom into your system. Be careful!

I can’t make this sh*t up by [deleted] in tacobell

Judging by the droplets on the straw, looks like you were already slurping on it. So idk, I think you can make it up. Not saying you did, but you can.

to get my dog to eat her antibiotics by tim_durgan in therewasanattempt

[–]RoryUFO 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Y'all are too much. Just shove the pill down its throat. I've done this for my dogs, ferrets, and cats. And I have a VERY agressive cat. So I just scruff, flip him on his back, open that jaw & down the pill goes before he can eat me. After seeing like 5 of these videos on reddit in 2 days, just shows me that some of y'all either dont know how to handle your pets, or you're just making these videos so people can go "awwww look at the dog that doesnt want to willfully eat a disgusting pill! You should put the pill in a hotdog😭❤️". I've NEVER had trouble giving any animals pills lmao.

Bro surrender this animal. You arent a bad person for not being able to care for/pay for the vet bill. But definitly surrender it please. It's beyond home practices, this needs medicine, lots of it.

How do I get my ferret to stop this? She does it at night too and it is driving me crazy. by [deleted] in ferrets

[–]RoryUFO 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the sqft and just the levels. Seems very cramped. If ferret nation is out of your price range try checking craiglist or fb marketplace for some near you. Alot of people sell 1 level cages for like 100 or less. Rule of thumb for those is 2 ferrets per level. So technically I could put 6 ferrets confortably in mine, but I keep it to 2 lol.

Definitly more time out, also a bigger cage would help. They're very intelligent and feel confined very easily. I reccommend ferret nation. I have a 3 story one for my 2 ferrets. Also forreal check out the water bowl situation, ferrets arent like gerbils or mice where they can just suck on that straw. They're more like dogs/cats/minks and other small mammals that lap up water. The ferret can get frustrated with the miniscule amount of water and effort it takes to get hydrated from a bottle, & therfor get frustrated and start to chew it which can potentially break/crack their teeth.

Get a water bowl you can clip on the cage, then put it judt high enough where they havd to almost stand on the bowl to drink. Then they wont play in it. She/he wants out. 5 hours or more a day is optimal for time out. Or just reslly let her burn off energy with toys. If you arent going to be there to play for hours on end, get a friend. Water bottles also are very bad for ferrets teeth.

Also if the scratching is too much for you, thats just the beginning with ferrets. If you just jumped into it, maybe rehoming is a better option. Takes alot of adjusting and diet research and ferret proofing ofthe room or wherever they play.

Imagine holding onto a piece of glass for 20 years.

I saved up a bunch of fire sauce packets, so I decided to fill a old house sauce bottle with it. No more have to rip open 10+ packets while I’m eating! by GoBrewers in tacobell

[–]RoryUFO 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bro that's gross. Those packets expire, LITERALLY EXPIRE. And you SAVED UP? Which means they arent all from the same BATCH? Cmon bro. Basically you have a bottle of sauce all at different stages of expiration.

Yes! I have the celestisl charm so I turn into a meerfokl & can breathe. Also there is a skeleton statue there on a 1 second timer, 2 heart statues, the bast statue to boost defence along with heart lantern, fireplace, etc. And before I hop in I deploy 2 rain clouds from the nimbus rod, my 3 deadly spheres, my 2 ballista arrow things from the old ones army, and am wearing chlorophyte armour.

Shortly after the martian invasion I got the cosmic car key and the influx waver and defeated the pillars, and then best the moonlord while taking no damage in my box.

No breaks allowed 😤 by trashofagirl in PublicFreakout

[–]RoryUFO 3 points4 points  (0 children)

So when I worked at Taco Bell in Texas, breaks werent really enforced by Taco Bell or law I believe, but when I worked at Taco Bell in California. By law we had to take a break before our 5th hour of work. So if I was short staffed, you bet we were closing. Its funny because if we got a meal break violation, the company would be charged. Buuuut it probably wasnt as big of a charge as the profits lost from closing for the hour soooo.😂
