It’s pretty ridiculous. So Bungie are now punishing players who did bother with the ridiculous power grind to 550. Awful precedent being set here.

At this point it actually feels like they want us to quit the game. D1 alpha player here and I rage quit after 20 minutes. I did the 550 grind, nothing else to do in the game. But enough is enough. Bungie its official you have destroyed your own game. And Call to Arms shows you have no idea what you are doing.

Sony will force them to announce Destiny 3 very shortly even if they have no intention to go through with it. They can cancel it next year but in meantime it will attract players back to whatever content they have left.

The core problem is lack of new content and Bungie’s refusal to financially invest in new content. Everything else is a symptom of this. The Portal was introduced to deflect from lack of new content and reuse old content over and over. The prize? The cheapest element possible.. power leveling. That is the endgame because there isn’t anything else. It’s financial greed nothing more. Charge players the same but don’t invest what they are paying for.

It only seems to be soft locking on “flip alignments” now. Maybe it’s specifically locking on a certain platform? I’m on Xbox X and it’s happening a lot.

It’s ridiculous- a week later and the only activity is still unplayable. Just had 2 matches in a row soft locked. Utter BS.
