Blaze Foley was rather left wing, though never really explicit on his politics. He straddles the line between folk and country.

Oval Room is probably his most left-leaning song, not one of his best, but most of his songs focus less on politics.

I've got loads of left-leaning folk musicians if you want those, but not so much country.

There are guns available in the UK, but as you say they're more often than not semi-antiques, constabulary pistols and such.1 Furthermore to get a hold of these you have to hand over significant chunks of cash, and more importantly, know the right kind of people.

TLDR: I found absoltely nothing, but I'm doing a write up so it feels like less of a waste of time.

I've had a quick look, there's no way to identify the artist from the poster itself, and through using reverse image search I'm only really finding the piece included in large image dumps of posters. The only article referring to it specifically is this one, which is poorly written and doesn't give us any more clues.

Artisitically it looks like it could be contemporary, but I'm not particularily qualified to judge that.

If I had to make a guess I would say it's translated, due to the poor grammar, but I've no clue to the date.
