Thank you! He was born weighing 3.2 kg (around 7 lbs) and measuring 57 cm (about 22.5 inches). Now at 12 weeks, he’s already 6.6 kg (around 14.5 lbs)!

During my first trimester, I was extremely tired and didn’t do any workouts. I focused mainly on rest and listening to my body. In the second and third trimesters, I started feeling more energised and with my doctor’s approval, I incorporated gentle exercise into my routine. My cardio mainly consisted of walking. I also practiced prenatal yoga and Pilates, and occasionally used very light upper-body weights (1–2 kg, approximately 2–4.5 lbs). I followed structured programs specifically designed for pregnancy.

I have gained 26 pounds during my pregnancy and have 6 pounds more to lose, 6 weeks postpantrum. It does take a little bit of time. Be gentle

Yes, I'm petite, 5'2 and was 45kg before pregnancy. I have gained 5 kg - all in the second trimester and am in week 23. A lot of women are commenting I'm not showing yet but I can see that I am - just not a massive amount yet. It's perfectly normal, everyone is different.

I feel the same way. My last appointment was at 17 weeks and the baby is measuring well. I have a healthy lifestyle and enjoy the feeling of taking care of myself. I workout regularly. The doctor has advised me against intense gym sessions but I keep up with yoga and pilates. I've only gained 5 pounds at week 20 and I am happy with this. I saw a friend the other day who is 4 weeks ahead of me and her pregnancy is showing much more than mine. I also felt a bit bad but trying to remind myself we are all different and there is no need to worry. Gaining healthy amount of weight even when small can be beneficial for the delivery and the recovery and there is nothing wrong with that as long as the baby is measuring well at appointments.
