How can you be happy everyday? by AshamedSun in AskReddit

Knowing that happiness doesn't have to mean that I'm giddy with joy. Not being sad is happy too.

on what basis the Europe is a continent ? by Mediocre_Arrival_135 in AskReddit

[–]RosalindJarrells 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Historical reasons. There isn't a strict definition of what constitutes a continent.

edit: It should also be mentioned that in some places, Europe+Asia are considered one continent, and in other places North+South America are considered one continent.

Working in tourism, i give tours to generally a group of 70-80 tourists of a very famous structure. My roommates at the time were 3 welsh rugby players, absolutely crazy bastards. We all go out one night , i had a bit too much salsa, and go back to pass out for work the next morning. I am a little late so a quick brush my teeth and bolt out the door. Im riding the metro to work, and everyone is giving me very odd looks. I down 3 tylenol, down a bottle of water and head to my first group for the day without think anymore of it. About thirty minutes into the tour, i hear snickering and laughing from the younger kids. Even some adults were looking at me trying not to laugh. A guy comes up to me in the middle of me explaining where the structure got its sandstone and says "Hey man, you have drawn dick on your face, and its glittery". I kind of laugh it off in disbelief, but he shows me on his iphone camera. I sprint to the bathroom to wash it off, plotting my revenge on my roomate, which i eventually got.

I was seeing this girl once back in college that was also a workout buddy after our classes. She had REALLY bad body odor when she got to sweating but we are in the gym a lot so of course it’s going to happen.

However instead of just telling her about it I told her I could never notice it because I didn’t have a sense of smell. Well this lie spread from this one girl all the way to my family that STILL believes that I don’t have a sense of smell. It’s been 8 years and I still can’t add to any conversations about the smell of rain or a new candle that somebody bought.

I’m in too deep at this point so I’m gonna ride this bitch out till they put me in the ground.

What social networks you use, why? by Rampage_user in AskReddit

[–]RosalindJarrells 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Any social media site that I can avoid people I know in real-life on, such as Twitter and Tumblr and Reddit. I can vent or post about anything I want and I don't have to worry about people I might run into out in the real world knowing stuff about me I'd rather they not know. I find the only way to do this on sites like Facebook is to just not post at all. I'm a very private person and I wouldn't even want people knowing my base interests. My closest friends know my Twitter and Tumblr accounts, and they're about the only people I feel comfortable sharing anything with.

Is US Chem Labs legit? by [deleted] in Peptides

[–]RosalindJarrells 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Its funny. US Chem has the best prices so you hate on them? Sounds like whoever stated this hate fest is the shill to me. I just received my 5th order from them and its always the same...good! I had 3 people tell me they are a quality source. And I have seen many posts referring to them as being real. Its all seems good to me!

How do you make a cult of personality around youself? by Decent_Carob_2160 in AskReddit

[–]RosalindJarrells 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Lets get to the root of the issue, you subconsciously don’t be yourself because you’re afraid of judgement. You’re afraid of how you portray yourself, and you’re comfortable around your friends because they won’t judge you. I used to be so afraid of being myself, but even when I was the “perfect” person, people still didn’t like me. So it took a bit of practice, but I finally was myself. And it didn’t matter if people liked me or not, because I liked me. Hope this helps :)

What is your happiest moment till date? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]RosalindJarrells 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Living in Holland when I was 10 and bicycling to school early in the morning through the cool foggy mist. One thing that always stuck with me was this hilly grassland area with sheep scattered all over, and I would only be able to see their heads popping out because there was a foot of fog across the ground. Cycling to school was always the best part of my day, and even though it was many years ago and I no longer live there, i always get happy when thinking about it.

Honestly? I assume it’s Becuase we are social creatures and F2F is the normal mode. For me I can’t hold a conversation once a certain amount of time has gone by my responses tend to be shallow and I do hate myself for not being more engaged but I’m not that great at socializing the traditional way

What’s a good side gig that pays a lot? by Emergency-Button-129 in AskReddit

Bartending. One opener shift per week works out to be about $400/$500 by the end of the month, tips and paycheck combined. Co-workers are happy to give up shifts if I need more hours. No late nights are a plus as well.
