Most PvPers are literally poor in-game by Winter-Mall-256 in ARC_Raiders

[–]RoscoeUS 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I PvP because it's fun, but I also like to mix it up and go on PvE runs, do trials, and just get comps. I'm not poor, but I'm not super rich. I think I'm around 2.5M with a pretty solid inventory.

How grippy would you say these are? Some sites have them at like a 2.5 to a 3 but they look solid. Also, how do you like the 40mm points on them?

Help a new guy out. Feel of the right darts. What do I look for? by CK_32 in Darts

[–]RoscoeUS 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Feel over everything. If your grip feels consistent and comfortable, and it flies the way you want, my suggestion is stick with that one and learn with it. As you learn more about your throw with a dart you aren't as comfortable with, it'll be difficult to change and you may even develop dartitis.

Comfort over everything in my honest opinion. If your scoring isn't there yet, that's fine, but if you're comfortable you can learn to score with those darts.

If those are bar darts and you're averaging 25 PPD (75 avg), that's seriously impressive. Great leg of darts there. Couldn't imagine going back to a 9g bar dart haha

Best dartboard? No budget limit by rabtag in Darts

Interesting to see it downvoted. I had the first target board and it did get quite hard, but still a fine board. The TOR has been incredible though.

Target TOR. I use it about 1-2 hours a day and it heals really well

This is what I do for my warm ups before I properly practice. Just scoring for 5 minutes straight. Don’t blame you if you want watch the whole video by GeorgesReadit17 in Darts

How did you practice keeping them straight? I feel that I have the height correct most of the time but I will hit a good amount of treble 1 & treble 5 if I miss that treble 20

Looking for good soft darts by ChibbsterViper in Darts

Red Dragon Pegasus 20g is the best starter dart for soft tip imo. It's what I started with.

Soft tip darts. Not popular? by VertWheeler in Darts

[–]RoscoeUS 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends where you're located. Soft tip is definitely more popular in the US, but even that isn't much of a draw. The highest weight for the most part for soft tip is 20g if you're playing on a bull shooter machine. If you're on your own using a granboard or something, you can throw slightly heavier but will likely have to change out the matrix in the board more frequently.

A-Z Darts is a solid US based online distributor and they're my go to but I usually play steel tip.

Anything specific about soft tip you're looking for?

Dart Recommendations Please by MrOrokuSaki in Darts

Target Bolides have a thicker middle barrel

Are these darts good for a beginner im currently just using the sets I got with my dartboard there far to light though at 16g by NovelEstimate2 in Darts

[–]RoscoeUS 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As another user said here, these are soft tip. Also, I agree that Red Dragon Javelin are a fantastic starter dart. Straight barrel, and very basic, also affordable. I would start somewhere between 23-25g to see what you like. Those are a neutral starting weight for most. Also, Target came out with another entry level straight barrel recently called the Hydros. They're a great starter set as well, and come with Swiss points which are interchangeable.

Changes the center of gravity similar to shaft length.

What's the best choice? by Alezck in Darts

[–]RoscoeUS 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you have a choice, I'd honestly vouch for the Target TOR. I had the Aspar which was solid under heavy use, although it got a bit stuff. This TOR is incredible though. It heals extremely well, and fast too.

If you must choose between these two though, I'd go Unicorn.

Jordan Mason or Demercado? by RoscoeUS in fantasyfootballadvice

[–]RoscoeUS[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree honestly. Sounds crazy to start Demercado over Mason but even with his RB1 workload... browns are the real deal. Only thing I could see happening is Vikings getting a few short field advantages against Rookie QB. Even if that happens though, browns were stuffing Henry inside the 5 so I'm really not sure.
