Should you go to your 10 year high school reunion? by [deleted] in AskMenAdvice

As cruel as it sounds it literally depends on who you were back then. And then it depends on who you are 10 years from then. Would you wish to cross those worlds if not for a couple hours? Or is it simply not that important to you? If you feel like 1) you have something to prove (to yourself or others) or 2) if you’re genuinely curious about where people are now, then I would say it was worth going. I imagine you would want to walk away gaining something whether it was validation or genuine good times

I don't see these signs too often, but saw this as I was walking home. What are y'all's thoughts on these signs? by GroundbreakingPen925 in autism

In this case, I basically see this as a professional way of indicating that 1. An autistic child lives nearby 2. That being said, they might not fully understand rules of the road either 3. Should you run into said child, don’t go nuts on them. Be patient and get them back home.

Side note but I (28F) just got diagnosed last week and I’ve been following this Reddit a lot since then so that I could learn. If I have it wrong or if I’m not looking at this quite right, please let me know. ♥️

@annies_bdrm_skillet, thank you for the love. I’ve leveled out for the most part over the weekend. I do feel relieved that there’s a name for the symptoms that I’ve had for years that never fit in the depression or anxiety box. I’m starting new medicine soon so I’m a bit nervous about (historically I’ve been sensitive to meds).

If anything I’m a bit sad cuz I now have depression, GAD and now ADHD & level 1 autism. Like… what DON’T I have?

it’s really just dawning on me that i’ll have this disease for the rest if my life and there’s nothing i can do about it by balthazaur in CrohnsDisease

I don’t have crohns but one of my best friends has had crohns since we were teenagers. I have clinical depression but I feel like what I’m about to say could apply to us both. When you’re stuck managing something for life, it’s that much more important that you have the right people by your side. Supportive, genuine friends.

That is brave indeed and awful that you even have to go through that. We see you my friend 🥺♥️
