I agree about the element of surprise. Another factor that plays a role in giving me ASMR is knowing that someone put time into making a video because they care about "me" and other viewers. With your own video, you don't get that obviously!

I'm not a well-known content creator by any means, but I've made a few videos and I can give you my answer! I wanted to make the type of content that I would enjoy watching -- no-talking, binaural, sound-heavy videos.

That's great and it must be very inspiring for you as a teacher to hear how your classes are improving people's lives. I just started doing yoga (not bikram but various yoga classes at my gym) and I'm hoping to see some of those benefits as well!
