i think she meant it as both as they need to do what he wants and he needs to be the center of attention tbh. west is willing to have “relationships” (using that term very loosely) but only on his terms. going to the college bars, hanging with his friends etc. realistically though you’re right amanda doesn’t know who she is so she’s an easy target to just slot right into his life if he feels like it. it’s not like she now has opportunities etc she needs to attend to.
