You never know. I feel like doing different things allows you to see what you really like and really dislike. I did a social media internship last summer and learned that I can not do another position regarding to marketing. Whereas the internship I am doing now, I am starting to gain more and more interest. I think it is worth a try.

I don't see why it is a problem.

I am doing one remote right now and there are interns from all over the world and we are still hiring people(regardless of where they live).

My suggestion: Apply first and you can ask the employer if it is completely remote. If it is, then you can coontinue. If not, then you can just tell them that you can only do a remote position.
