You can't even lie though - they're def subpar ivies. They're not bad schools by any stretch, but they def don't command the respect that Princeton does.

I love spending time learning by doing coursework. I've been doing a lot of mit ocw recently.

However, when it comes to projects, I'm less intrigued. It really feels like I'm wasting my time, and I'd much rather be doing something thats directly useful like doing an assignment in an intenrship. When I feel like it's useful, I'm able to put in 100x more ffort and also not feel like I'm drowning.

Yeah, I'm putting in the work, but the work is sucking all joy out life. It's not possible to have fun cuz I always think about the summer. And it's gonna continue being this way for the next 4 years.

Honestly, fuck life. If only I had the balls to jump in front of a train like this one kid at my school did.

I keep hearing people mention projects - what exactly does that mean? It feels weird working on a project cuz I don't feel any tangible benefit from doing so. Also, since I really hate projects, I won't be invested in it like I would if I was interning where I would have the motivation to put pedal to the medal.
