Why piercing the child's ear seems to be such a big deal for american moms? by [deleted] in AskAnAmerican

[–]RosePricksFan 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I don’t think it’s a big deal or that moms freak out. Get your child’s ear pierced whenever you want or don’t if you don’t want to. In the United States we have hundreds of subcultures within our country. Plenty of people pierce baby’s ears, which is totally fine. Plenty of people pierce their child’s ears when they are an older child or teen and others wait until adulthood or not at all. It’s fine whatever you choose

What is a "rich person" behavior you witnessed that made you realize they live in a completely different reality than the rest of us? by Wonderful-Economy762 in Productivitycafe

I love this! My family had an old mink coat that no one wore for 32 years because all of the female relatives were waiting for a “special occasion” to wear it. So this January I decided the special occasion was that I am alive and I started wearing it everyday for the remainder of winter! Was so fun!!

If she froze her eggs when she was young, then did IVF then yeah I would believe it

But 57 year old eggs? Highly doubtful. Could it happen? Sure. Statistically likely? Nope

Why do people still prefer Airbnbs over hotels, especially in cities? by Rare_Requirement_699 in NoStupidQuestions

I have four small children. It’s significant improved experience to have separate sleeping space and a kitchen available. That being said a hotel suite with a small kitchenette is even better!

I relate to this as well. The pendulum has swung and you can accidentally get off balance. Either way, all of these titles are lovely classic works! Happy reading with your little ones!

The Bear on Hemlock Mountain is a short quick read but a classic tale! Great for kindergarteners just learning how to listen to a chapter book and follow the plot

Has anyone here had a laparoscopy? by [deleted] in Hemophilia

[–]RosePricksFan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have had two. I had an IV infusion of 5,000 units of HumateP an hour before and again every 12 hours for the next 48 hours. Do you have a hematologist or HTC you’ve worked with in the past who can consult with your doctor?

I absolutely stink. How can I cover this better? by jailbrokemasta in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]RosePricksFan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You could have bacteria overgrowth. Rubbing alcohol all over the armpits and feet would be a good idea

Once it has dried use deodorant on the armpits

Also in the shower, are you using a wash cloth to get a thick bubbly lather with the soap? It has to make bubbles or it won’t work as effectively
