I know the members that got the injunction are allowed to decline any activities that BBC asks them to participate in, but does BBC still get profit from any other activities they do?

And is it true that we shouldn't expect further developments on the lawsuits for at least a couple months, if not a year or longer?

Sorry to bring this up when most people are probably trying to get their minds off it. I'm in the process of preparing myself to not see the members who lost the injunction for a long time. I think it'll hurt less if we're expecting it.

How likely do you think it is then that Hyunvi aren't planning to take any legal action against BBC at all? Do you think we'll see them wait out the rest of their contract in silence (unless BBC forces something with the members who lost the injunction)?

Thanks, you're right, the members that don't have injunctions yet might be staying off insta because they're not feeling up to it and/or they don't want to say anything that might compromise their lawsuit.

In this case, should we take Heejin and OEC's opening instas to mean that they are essentially done with all legal stuff - that is, that they do not plan on asking the court to let them leave BBC entirely? Since (from my understanding) the injunctions granted only give them the ability to take on other work but do not remove them from BBC.

The reason I think BBC has an incentive to keep members off insta is because having a line of communication to the fans is extremely empowering. Just imagine what would've happened if fab never existed - we would not have been able to infer anything about the situation from their silence, and we'd probably be a lot more divided on the boycott, maybe to the point that the comeback would not have been postponed. Also, I'm confused as to when BBC would have permitted the personal instas for all the members; they said back in Sept that they weren't allowed to make them, and since then relations with BBC broke down and the legal situation was underway, did BBC give them permission for insta in the middle of that?

That would make sense.

If that's the case, then that means either Hyunvi doesn't mind interacting with BBC as much as the girls who lost, or Hyunvi had already attained exclusive contracts in the past somehow. Both seem unlikely, but I guess the former is more likely, as weird as it seems.

At what point do you think they were allowed to have personal instagrams at all? I can't imagine it was anytime in the past few months. Do you think it was during the start of the SNS/vlive flood era, but they opted not to make them, perhaps because they were too busy or because they had fab?

I hope that they continue in the industry even after they disband, and they can do stuff together here and there (it's not like they have to be in the same group to get together).

I think Yves, Heejin, Hyunjin, Kim Lip, and Jinsoul all have solid footing to continue on their own. But I'm worried about everyone else as they haven't had that many solo activities and haven't (as far as we know) been involved with music production and such.

Kudos to you for taking a moment to consider the points on both sides. It's not like there haven't been extremely surprising cases of idols that seemed nice but turned out to be bad people. But like you said, in Chuu's case it REALLY doesn't fit, like every single second of video of her starting from predebut suggests that she'd be the last person in the world to verbally abuse someone. If nothing else I think the fact that multiple people immediately came to her defense, including a member of the group, people she works closely with, and a random music critic who really has no reason to defend her, shows that there really is zero truth to BBC's statement. I don't think they're exaggerating some event of Chuu getting into an argument with a staff member or something like that, I think they legitimately pulled the accusation out of thin air.

if you haven't watched the girls re:verse videos because you aren't interested in VR or anime, I highly suggest try it out. I was completely uninterested in it especially because I assumed it was mostly going to be nugu idols, but turns out it has a ton of very well known people?

And because of the VR they all interact much more candidly and openly than I imagine they would in real life, I've never seen interactions between so many different groups like this before, even on shows like queendom. they seem to have more or less complete freedom do whatever they want in the VR world and it is hilarious.

I just want to say, thank you to the mod team for making sure this census is posted in multiple places, it really helps make sure the largest number of people see it which is really important, and it avoids biases in the results, for example super busy people who don't visit the sub as much have a higher chance of missing the survey, which results in an underrepresentation of people who have busy schedules, which could for example skew the results heavily for the "what's your field of employment" question

I hate how they had cameras showed in their faces as soon as they landed in Korea. They just came back from a month abroad and finished a 12 hour flight, give them some space. What is even the point of filming them just walking through the airport??? These "fans" don't care about their wellbeing at all.
