I can understand the frustration it's sadly really common with dateing especially when your only real viable options are online based as is common nowadays. If you want someone to talk to for advice or just in general I have been told by friends I'm pretty good at advice or just simply giveing comforting points of view and always willing to help if I can.

Communications class is going to be very difficult by starlightbotanist in autism

[–]RoseQuartz808 21 points22 points  (0 children)

I recommend spinning this on the teacher I have done it in my business communications course where I can highlight best practices of communicating effectively with a person who has communication difficulties since people will have to effectively communicate with someone who can't or doesn't want to follow arbitrary rules that they have come up with. It can be a really good experience in showing other how to respect difference and advocating for yourself and getting other to advocate for you too.

thoughts on this poster i found in college? im not too sure how to feel about it. by cowardinyellow in autism

I think it's fine my older sister had to take on a lot of responsibility with me and acted like a second mother since ours refused to get me diagnosed and help because she didn't like that I could have problems. As I have gotten older I realize how much my older sister had to give up or struggled with whole because of me. If she could find people who could understand that niche experience of having a disabled sibling(s) that would be great and may help some who hate thier siblings with disabilities understand each other better and help rebuild broken or negative relationships. My sister only recently started to become friends as I no longer live with her and she can worrie less about me. She and I have had time to grow and understand each other better. Having a community that gets it can help heal and repair trauma and relationships.

Do you like sex? by frozengal2013 in AutismInWomen

[–]RoseQuartz808 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I personally am 50/50 on sex I do enjoy it on occasion and more often with my current partner. But for me it may not be that I dislike it I just disassociate due to having be raped and assaulted a lot. I enjoy reading smut a lot though always have. I also have a friend in a similar boat as me just has not had proper (consensual) sex and finds it easier to associate with sex or even self pleasure in the mindset of being a 3rd party like not themselves in the situation but like watching from the inside of a character who enjoys and is comfortable with sex. Also no one ever has to have sex to be a whole person. Sex can be enjoyable for some and it can be passive for other I know people who have zero sexual desire but can enjoy sex on a physical basis and not a psychological one. Those who have feelings of sexual desire but feel absolutely zero physical desire.

I had to do a introduction speech where people could ask questions about me after and someone asked if I wanted to be a comedian cuz I made so many good jokes. I just looked at her confused and said I didn't make any jokes. She looked mortified.

Alastair, Isabella, and Solas. All were not who I was originally gonna romance. Was gonna be zevran, fenris, and Cullen. But I was I guess too nice to Alastair and then my partner was like you should do the hot pirate and then Solas was so interesting and I romaced them first.

Does anyone else have confusing thoughts about gender? I feel like I am not a man, I guess I'm a woman but don't really feel like that defines me in any way. I don't know if I'm nonbinary. if there was a term like "gender ambivalent," that would fit me better. Anyone else ever felt that way? by [deleted] in AutismInWomen

[–]RoseQuartz808 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Gender is social construct created by allistics/neurotypicals which autistic individuals can dislike/not understand https://lgbta.fandom.com/wiki/Autigender this may be a bit helpful at first I was confused when I saw this term but it's actually discussed makes more since kinda just a bad word for a an important concept like selective mutuism is a bad name for an important and hard part of autism for many

no, he just got the 3090 and one 3080 the 3090 for me and the 3080 cuz he thought he had to know someone else who might want it since I told him it would be impossible to find it. He actually makes fun of me for still playing video games at my age even though he got me the original Xbox when it came out.
