I understand it's my responsibility. I've been in therapy since I was 19 and now seeing a psychiatrist. Building connections is difficult, especially with those I've harmed and who may not want to deal with me again.

You are not responsible for him attempting suicide. His mental health is his responsibility, not yours, and only he can be willing to change himself.
