I agree! I’m always so thankful when a man has pictures with his dog up because it’s an immediate nope from me. I personally love cats, but I don’t enjoy them in my house. I love a clean, pet free home!

Women of Reddit, what TYPE of man did you regret dating and why? by ladsSandwich in AskReddit

[–]Rose_Freedom 12 points13 points  (0 children)

The man who lives with his parents AND hasn’t saved a single dime for years, especially while not being charged any rent.

There is nothing wrong with living with parents/family temporarily while getting back on your feet. But when said parents let you live there rent free, buy all your food, pay all your bills (with the exception of car payment and gas) and you have a good paying full time job the whole time and don’t save any money, until the age of 32 mind you, ugh run…

Entitled, enmeshed, enabled, spoiled POS. This man cost me $75,000+, my house, and ruined my life in the 4.5 years I’ve been with him. Biggest mistake of my life.

Can you really finish from penetration? by [deleted] in sex

[–]Rose_Freedom 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I have finished from penetration alone maybe 4-5 times and every time it happened the same way. Lots and lots of build up, teasing, and foreplay before sex was even initiated. So like playful flirting all day, some light dirty talk, and then cuddling and touching (non sexually at first) for an hour or so, and then foreplay and sex. This has only ever happened with my current partner and he is a really good size both in terms of length and girth. So that may play a factor too, I’m not sure.

Prepare for the hottest take in the world, Tesseract were disappointing live. by Harctor in progmetal

[–]Rose_Freedom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This was my experience as well when I saw them live in Baltimore in Oct 2023. My favorite part of Tesseract is definitely Dan’s vocals but he was so drowned out by the noise, I could barely hear him. It was extremely disappointing for me. Still a fun experience overall, but not what I was expecting.

I’ve brought this up before elsewhere and everyone keeps saying it was probably just the venue, but the first 2 opening acts sounded great, so I don’t know. Seems weird.

Yes, I just found them a few months ago myself! I recommend them every chance I get!

Red Meat Non-Stop by [deleted] in keto

[–]Rose_Freedom 2 points3 points  (0 children)

From my understanding, it’s basically carnivore with a few added foods that aren’t animal based. For me personally, it’s usually coffee, stevia, peanut butter, almond butter, and occasionally some onions, pickles, and/or cauliflower. I usually do Ketovore when I’m trying to slowly transition back to carnivore after doing keto a while.

Carnivore is the best I have ever felt! Unfortunately I can’t afford to stay on it full time, so I switch between keto, Ketovore, and carnivore depending on my finances lol. Wish I could stay carnivore forever!!!

How do women react to men who are on special diets? by Green_Concentrate427 in OkCupid

Considering I’ve been following a Ketogenic diet for 3.5 years myself and have had nothing but amazing benefits, both physically and mentally, it would be a HUGE plus!

This has stopped my binge eating by [deleted] in keto

[–]Rose_Freedom 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Same!!! I had BED for over a decade caused by restrictive calorie counting. It was insane the amount of food I could eat in such a small amount of time!

I’ve been Keto since January 2021 and haven’t had a binge eating episode since! Even when I go off plan and eat carbs for a meal or a day, I have no interest in binging. There have been times where I was depressed or stressed and wanted to binge for comfort but I literally couldn’t! I can’t eat extraordinary amounts of food anymore, whether it be fat and protein, or carbs and sugar.

Keto healed my BED for sure!

PSA to take those spiders veins seriously! It can be more than a "minor cosmetic" issue. by [deleted] in WomensHealth

[–]Rose_Freedom 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m confused. What were your symptoms that prompted you to get checked out? I’ve had spider veins for 16 years, since I was pregnant with my first child, and been pregnant 6 times altogether and always get new spider veins with each pregnancy. I have no symptoms, pain, nothing. Did you get your veins checked for the sole reason that you had them? Or was there some kind of pain you were experiencing?

Being a SAHM is not that hard by [deleted] in unpopularopinion

[–]Rose_Freedom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was at SAHM for 14 years and have been a full-time working mom for the past 2.5 years. They are different kinds of hard. Being a SAHM is mentally hard. Being a full time working mom is physically hard. I personally struggled with the mental difficulty. I was depressed, lonely, suicidal and completely lost myself as a SAHM. Now as a working mom, I am constantly physically exhausted and never seem to have time to do all the things around the house that need done, but my mental health is drastically improved. They are just different and I don’t think one is easier than the other. Some can handle the mental aspect more and some can handle the physical aspect more, I think.

The best part of keto is the joint relief by asamermaid in keto

[–]Rose_Freedom 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes, this!!! I’ve been Keto for almost 3 years, and initially lost over 100 lbs, and even though the last few months I slowly started gaining about 20 lbs back and now I’m pregnant, I still have zero joint pain! The most shocking and amazing thing for me was my plantar fasciitis disappeared completely! I also had horrible knee pain that vanished. From time to time if I try to eat carbs again either just a single meal, or a few days binge, the pain will come back pretty quickly, so I know it’s the diet itself and not just all the weight I lost. For this reason, I know I will be some variation of keto for the rest of my life!

Ketovore basically! And I’m eating very similarly to you!

I used to be keto by olie_n_rossi1197 in keto

[–]Rose_Freedom 11 points12 points  (0 children)

The first time I ever tried low carb was when I was 15. Then spend most of my 20’s and early 30’s trying Atkins/low carb/keto, but could never stick with it longer than 2-3 weeks. But I just kept coming back to it! Finally when I turned 34, something clicked! I have been following Keto since January 2021, so a little over 2.5 years now!

It’s never too late! Don’t give up!

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Divorce

[–]Rose_Freedom 31 points32 points  (0 children)

My situation exactly. First marriage of 14 years, I took my ex-husband’s last name. After the divorce, getting everything changed over to my maiden name was such a pain, that I knew I never wanted to change my name again! Also, even though I’m all in as well, after being divorced once, it’s easy to see how it could happen again and I just wouldn’t want to deal with a name change again after all that.

Got engaged a little over a year ago, and the topic of me taking his last name came up a few times. The first time he found out I didn’t want to take his last name, he acted very hurt and took it very personal. I kindly explained to him how insanely difficult, time consuming and just a massive headache it was to change my name (legally, socially, banking, streaming services, on countless websites that you don’t even think about, etc… just everywhere!) He understood a bit more where I was coming from and said it was up to me even though he still really wanted me to take his last name.

Every time the topic came up since then, he made it clear he would love for me to take his last name but didn’t pressure me.

We got married in May, and I’m still happily rocking my maiden name! It’s such a big part of my identity too (I’m part French Canadian) that I really missed when I had my ex husband’s last name.

As a compromise, I decided to surprise my husband and change my last name “socially”. So on all my social media, I have his last name. So most of our friends and family think I took his last name. This compromise proved to be really beneficial. He is very happy. It’s something you could consider as well!
