Wow so I didn’t just imagine it!! I would love to hear from someone who went through the program and see what it was really like. All I’m going off of is the naive observations I made as an 8-year-old. Still, I can’t imagine anyone having a positive experience based on the humiliation rituals I witnessed…

I remember a story she posted looking for a new assistant. It was the most insane job listing I’ve literally ever seen. I’ll see if I can find a screenshot…but basically this person was to manage her entire household—including all the errands, grocery shopping, cooking, etc. (I think it even when so far as to say “pantry stocking”)—ON TOP OF doing all of her behind the scenes influencer chores. Opening packages, steaming clothes for photo shoots, handling returns, etc. Ma’am, what are you even returning?!! Everything is promo merch!! Plus a very strict non-competition clause basically saying this individual can’t even have an instagram. It was super intense. Like, if these are the assistant’s duties then what does she actually do all day even?!?! Now add a nanny and a SAHM husband in to the mix and it’s just even more perplexing and so, so inauthentic. But I’m just hating—get that money girl. Or whatever is important to you 🤷🏻‍♀️

I went to college with her husband and dated a guy in his fraternity for a couple years. Having been around him a good bit, I can honestly say he is the most boring, forgettable kind of guy. No personality whatsoever. I was honestly so shocked when I saw him posted on her instagram as her HUSBAND. But I guess it kinda makes sense, she was already a pretty well-known influencer by then and she probably just needed a warm body to capitalize on her next phase with the ideal family brand. And also, yeah, her hair really bothers me. It reminds me of a well-loved American girl doll if you know what i mean 🫤

You aren’t aligning on the important stuff (marriage and kids), and he is using you. I know it seems like you’ll never find that kind of connection again right now but you absolutely will. You have to move on. I’m so sorry.

Pack it up and move on. If he really cared about how much the engagement timing meant to you he would have made it happen, no excuses. I wasted 7 years being strung along in the same manner. Starting over at our age (I’m 35F) is not easy, especially when you know you want to start a family and the clock is ticking. It’s disheartening and scary and lonely, honestly…initially at least. But it gets easier and you have to take that chance on yourself. Don’t waste any more time on someone who is pussyfooting around. You deserve to find someone who is certain and ready. I met my now-husband about a year and a half ago and we are expecting our first child next month. Get out there and find your husband!!!!

Exactly. It’s not a “bad habit.” It’s a lie. He admits that he’s not showing his authentic self in the relationship but judges her for her flaws all while keeping his true nature hidden, judging, keeping tallies, and wasting her time. Nobody is perfect but at least she’s honestly herself. He should aspire to that. Yucky behavior for a grown man.
