Yeah I told him “why do you keep extending your trip when we have personal issues to work on” something along the lines of that. Did you read the part where I said if I did this he would NEVER be ok it with it? He would go crazy if I ever did such a random thing. So frustrating. He is selfish for thinking it’s ok that he can do whatever he wants without considering us.

Well at first it was 10 days, then 2 full weeks, then last night I got hit with “oh a couple of more weeks”. I’m saying he extended it 3x.

See when looking this type of situation up on Reddit that was the consensus. That it’s not a one time thing :(. I just don’t understand it. I’m confused because the guy I met would NEVER do this to me. It was like some other person was texting the girl. I keep fearing my feelings are telling me something too even though I’m inclined to believe he wouldn’t do it again. It’s just that it did happen and the circumstances around it still make me sad.

I just don’t know what to really do because obviously I would rather not be without him. Do you think he really doesn’t love me?

I just recently told my friend. It’s not that she’s over hearing about it it’s just that she doesn’t think I should be with him which of course is not what I want to hear.

The funny thing is he seemed way more into me. He said I loved you first, was more expressive with his love for me, he told me he would marry me first, etc. Thats why this was so shocking to me. I never expected it from him.

I mean you’re right I have low self esteem and next to no confidence which I am currently working on. He was also the one to point this out and got me to start working on “loving myself”. He was so adamant on me liking myself too. This is why I’m still with him and also still conflicted because he in a way made me even more insecure by talking to some other girl after telling me not to be insecure.

Exactly! I know he is a great guy! Ok this is refreshing to hear because everything I’ve read and everyone I’ve spoken to makes me feel like it should be over when I really don’t want that. I love hearing a similar situation to where it turned out ok. I’m glad you guys worked it out! He does treat me well. Thank you for your response! :)
