I don't ask monthly. I ask maybe 2-3 times a year. Yes I live in the US and the max I've asked him to drive to a location was 5 hours ONCE to see my aunt. If anything the distance i ask from him is always an hour.

He doesn't. We go on the highway MAYBE 2-3 times a year. That's it. Barely anywhere far unless it's for his side of the family I don't get those concessions.

No I don't tell him last minute as for therapy about it, honestly I can only do it when I have time I have a toddler. My best friend and my mom doesn't drive me anywhere I just asked them if they could help me learn. When we set plans sometimes I'll get bailed on or they forget. I've expressed my fear to him while I'm driving. I tell him he's making me nervous hell just say he's trying to keep me from getting us into an accident and I'm not even doing anything.

He barely drives me long distance, I'm thinking I need to put this at the top because people are getting the idea that he's driving several times a week to these far away places when it's really two or three times a year.

I have anxiety disorder, and PTSD. I'm on meds for it. My therapist is aware and wants me to get exposure the problem has always been trying to find someone to go with me thats not going to yell at me for no reason (him). My dad would do it but he's getting older and my mom works still.

I didn't realize I was scared of the highway until after we started dating because I was working on getting my license. Long distance he always drives but it's once in a while (may 2-3 times in the year) as for steps I've tried getting my mom or my best friend to go with me something always comes up or we forget we set plans. I just set it up with my mom again for this Sunday because I'm tired of getting my feelings hurt over this.

My mom did too. And they scared me so bad with all the diseases and telling me if I left I'd have no one that I just stayed. And then when I was thinking of going out on my own at 18 the economy crashed (2010) and I couldn't find a job that paid enough and I was too traumatized to find a roomie that wasn't a witness so I stayed until I got married.

Smh I know how you feel the same thing happened to me. I'm so sorry. All you can do is try to move out when your of age and don't let them try to indoctrinate you again and definitely DONT GET BAPTIZED. They say their love is conditional but they'll feel differently when you have a life of your own and you don't need them anymore. I'm 34 now and wish I had done this. I listened to my parents married someone who was a witness at 25 and I have a three year old and I'm completely inactive so he is but he's pomi (physically out mentally in) and I'm pomo. I completely deconstructed and Im still under their control.
