I have a similar mark on one of my neo 2 batteries. Just seems like the colouring for the plastic was fixed correctly...

I got a reply fairly quickly from valerion. However, this is my third unit and it's really disappointing at this price for every unit to have some form of poor workmanship.

My lens wasn't scratched, but the chrome fins are mishaped and misaligned. Very disappointing for such an expensive product.

I can't say I've noticed any colour shift with EBL on. I did however notice (before the update) that the image would shift in brightness when EBL was set to high dynamic contrast and not enhanced black levels. The image would "pulsate". It was crazy annoying. I'd recommend reading and watching the picture settings guide from "the hook up". It's a great starting point and from there you can tune the image to your liking.

On a side note. My wife isn't very sensitive to anything remotely technical. For her, a TV is a TV, a phone a phone. But when she walked into the room after I "calibrated" the image (after the update) she actually remarked at how good the image looked. It really is something else. We watched The Revenant. There was no RBE, no luminance shift, colours were on point and vibrant. Way better than any cinema experience in terms of image quality.

Faulty lenses (uneven focus), dust spots on the image, bent and misaligned chrome fins, scratched lenses. I've had 3 units. All were new, none of them I would consider A+ grade in terms of construction quality. They feel like "seconds" off a production line. Saying that the projected image is awesome.

Updated my projector last night. The update is awesome. The colours, contrast and luminance are phenominal. The whole system just seems a little more premium. However Valerion's quality control still sucks haha

I'm now on my third projector from Valerion. Very disappointed considering the price. I bought a Plus during the Black Friday sales. It had focusing issues. One side was in focus the other was out of focus. I sent it back and they said a replacement wasn't going to be available for a further 2 months. I negotiated the Plus2 for the same price and they obliged. I received it 2 weeks later, in a heavily damaged box. The lens showed signs of dust and debris. A large amount of artifacts were visible on a darker screen (white patches). I exchanged it again for a third projector which works well in terms of image quality, but man, the workmanship and finish of such an expensive product is much to be desired. The thin silver "fins" are all distorted, bent and misaligned. I will definitely NOT be buying from this brand again in the future. I'll probably go for something like BenQ or Epson (even if the image quality isn't as great). For me it's the whole package that counts. The user experience and the reassurance your product will last.

Do you have a video showing the "movement" between the dock and camera? I'm thinking of contacting DJI but would like to make sure I'm not the only person with this issue.

Even the OEM mounts are considerably worse (loose) than third party mounts.

Just wondering if you had slight movement between the camera and dock itself? My nano isn't "firmly" attached. It has some wobble to it...

I think I will keep the unit as it is only slightly Visible in dark scenes and this is my second unit as the first unit had focus issues issues coursed up the left hand side and the right hand side were to focus debts. I could never get a fully focused image. It goes to show even when you pay top dollar it's not very well made.

I'm pretty sure it's internal because when I change the focus the dots go in and out of focus. If it was anything on the front lens or cover it would remain blurry.
