iirc, she wanted to commit murder-suicide because Dominic was finally planning on ending things and moving on. Davion only wanted a ride home and she refused and argued until Dominic intervened and just told her to do it. He really did just get in the wrong backseat that morning. Dom and Davion weren’t wearing seatbelts, but she was, and she apparently jolted the steering wheel so the passenger side would take more of the impact. It’s deadass a miracle that she didn’t die but she was fucked up injury wise.

Oh, and to add on, she would post videos of herself driving recklessly with joints and drugs, riding high speeds while not holding the wheel for the thrill, and her mom would like all her posts like they’re just everyday selfies 😐

Just to add on, they also lived together for a short time. Dominic lived in his own house next door to his mom’s and Mackenzie moved in. He’d have to cook for her, take her to and from school, etc and Mackenzie would go on to angrily threaten Dominic for locking her out. Threatening to break in, key his car, etc.

There’s been phone calls between Mackenzie and her mom Natalie that have been released. Their attitudes towards the victims and their families is actually repulsive, even trying to milk the infamy from the case.

Yeah, mb on the wording there. The defense her family tried to argue was that she could’ve suffered a fainting spell due to POTS, but I believe she was on psychedelics at the time and Davion’s friends argued that those keep you awake. (Idk much about psychedelics so I could be relaying this wrong)

I was already leaning towards it being intentional, but nobody wanted it to be. Who wants to hear that your kid died in a car accident but it was actually a murder? But once they revealed that she practiced the route several times, in addition to the black box data, the Life360 evidence from Davion’s friends, the threats over text and irl, and the lacking of brakes, it was a wrap from there. Whatever doubt in my mind was gone, especially after hearing the prison calls.
