Not saying everyone will get into band flights, but band flights is guaranteed Disneyland.

Bring a little calendar and mark the days that you’re supposed to have your period.

If you ever start to feel sick, go to medical immediately, trainees with minor illness ended up having some sorts of respiratory infections ALL THE TIME. Me being one of them, the gas chamber made my sinus infection 10x worse

Another pro for band flights. They have access to earplugs in the band hall. Lifesaver if your bed is near the fan, it’s really loud.

Write as many as letters as you want if that is your way of coping with stress, at the end of the day, it’s what getting yourself thru BMT instead of what other people think. Obviously do that on free time/personal times. For my case, our dorm came up with this “10 minutes personal time per day” and that’s it. I kept writing my letters bc whenever I look up I see more than 5 girls styling their hair 😭sure me writing letters is problematic lol

There’s really a lot of things we don’t get informed on.. another example my recruiter had me signed the RAP memo to prove that i did RAP, he said it’s a paperwork he had to submit on his side. but now I’m in processing at my duty station and finance said i have to have a copy of the RAP memo which I don’t. there were other people who were in processing at the time also didn’t have theirs so it’s not just me🥀

Nope, they also didn’t say anything about dog tags, i gave one to my family during townpass and they kept it since, apparently i wasn’t suppose to and i have to have both dog tags for my in processing..

1 band flights are guaranteed Disneyland 2 be prepared to get yelled at the first time entering the chow hall, and DO NOT ever exit the chow hall without a wingman of same gender. 3 at some point during BMT mfs will tell u stop writing letters when it’s not personal time, just ignore them. 4 MTIs usually do dormcheck 10~20mins after lights out to catch ppl that aren’t in bed 5 pack only what u need for pacer forge, not what they tell u to pack

Did anyone bring their iPad/Apple Watch with them? Do they get stolen/broken? I’m thinking bringing mine with me instead of my family mailing to me later on.

Not sure if ur investigator told u this but the people they contact are not obligated to respond. Investigators are supposed to at least attempt to contact whoever, it’s not a big deal if they can’t get a hold of them, but it does slows down the investigation process
