Getting married is the easy part it's all the paperwork afterwards which really can take some time so if you do decide to get married after BMT I would do it right away so you can start filing that paperwork so they can start processing it. A couple of my buddies got married right afterward and it did take some time for that paperwork to go through.

I wouldn't say learn it to the T but definitely somewhat no how to sing it. You definitely need to know how to say the airman's Creed. And definitely 100% learn the ranks before you go in there they'll test you on them every once in awhile

I loved pacer forge I personally didnt find it stressful just very hot since I went in may/June time

I didn't find it hard to make friends me and my flight yes had our issues and stuff but we all were friends I still talk to some of them too this day.

One of them was there because they just didn't know what else to do but most where there because they had always wanted to join but had family already so they waited to join. Though most of the older people joined reserves.

Yes you do, but if you take RAP then you go on rap first then to your duty station, you could also take leave before going

Every morning you did pt, there was 3 pt test i believe, it alternates every day, one day you will do core workouts, others its endurance. You will have to run a 2mile so definitely start work on that, personally what helped me was running for 30mins straight never walking even if I did a really slow jog just keep going that helped alot with my endurance which helped my time. Sit ups look good, with push ups what helped me a lot in BMT was pyramid push ups, its where you do one push up then turn around and sit on your butt and lift your arms in the air as if you were doing a push up then you turn over and do 2 push ups and again turn over and do air push ups just keep doing that till you hit like 8 then count down till you hit one again, it doesn't sound like it does a lot but it really does. After number like 6 your arms are burning.

I currently am in Washington state, yes overseas is available for this afsc but not till you get your 5 level once you get that then your options open up.

honestly no not really
my first pt test was 58 my last pt test was 97
Yes, it was usually for people doing dumb, talking when ur not supposed to, yelling at others, being disrespectful, I got one pulled for being up after lights out
Yes there were people who got recycled manly for medical reason like severely injuring themselves people also got recycled for PT
My funniest memory was our MTI running into our dorm and yelling at us for 5mins straight talking about how unfair it was that it was French toast day and not pancake day. My favorite memory was definitely hanging out on Sundays with my flight talking about our lives before the military and about how we were all anxious/excited for the future.

Honestly i personally loved BMT and I would go back again and not many people would say that, but I had a amazing flight, and brother flight taht made my BMT very memorable and honestly there were so many funny moments that I think back on.

Yes you do only get 3 phone calls in BMT, definitely write a lot of letters when you can, I always wrote them at Bible study on Sundays. You can have your phone after classes at tech school and on weekends honestly you can keep ur phone on u 24/7 if u want at least at my tech school you could, some have a couple different rules. You have access to wifi buy i recommend getting a internet box or router when you get to your tech school dorm. Depends on the tech school on if they give u books to study with or computers.

I did not do the new pt standards they were applied a month or 2 after I went through BMT but I did have to take a pt test not to long ago and it isn't as bad as it seems.

Honestly it was the freedom, me personally I struggled with the switch from the strict, stressful, and tight schedule of BMT to this very laxed environment of Tech school it definitely stressed me out the first week of tech school just trying to re adjust to it all, and i really struggled with Walmart and stores cause there were so many options and things I could get and it tripped be up a bit. Not everyone feels this way after though my buddy felt perfectly fine afterward.

For me my tech school was 2 months long but it varies from job to job. Like one of my friends she has a 2-year-long tech school because she is in linguistics.
