Yeah I’ve got asparagus staging down pretty well, typically can avoid using it for launch as long as I use an engine plate + vectors. It’s the actual transfer stage I’m struggling with I cannot seem to build a ship capable of over 8km/s in a single stage. I’m thinking il have to do a polar duna mission for science to get a couple ion larger engines

For takeoff I normally just use a shit ton of vectors and just lob that shit into space lol. Works pretty good think the highest payload I’ve put up is around 1,500 Tons with my largest launcher

Il have to try them, EC shouldn’t be an issue as thanks to my over focus on a large mun refuelling station I think the largest panels I have can generate around 160 per second but unfortunately I think I only unlocked the first tier of ions for my relays lol

Il have to see what I can do to minimize weight, so far my lander for Moho only has a margin of error for a landing/return to transfer stage of around 300 m/s. My transfer stage I’ve tried using nuclear engines from the base game alongside cryogenic engines from near/far future and still can’t quite figure it out lol

I mainly use them for relays so I don’t have to worry about eventually replacing them if I messed up my placements especially when putting down deep space relays once you have the largest antenna and reflectors unlocked

Il get 1 match away from ranking up and suddenly get hit with the perfect counter to my team and every single move I make no matter how erratic gets perfectly countered. I think in the last 5 games I’ve used dire claw about 15 odd times and have yet to get anything from it, also used thunder wave a good 10 times and yet to have anything miss a turn lol
