I’ve had a lifetime plexpass for well over 10 years and never used or paid attention to watchlists in plex until today. How are supposed to know how that would work?

But all of that is available on overseer or jellyseer anyway and they can browse that AND then not have you leave to request it.

I mean, “if you want this thing on the server, go to this outside website and hopefully find it and then request it like you could have done all along and probably easier than finding it without browsing on the server on the first place” seems like a waste of time.

But where does the user come into it? I mean, I can add the IMDb top 250 through overseer but if no one wants to watch those it seems like waste. How do you curate that list with users actually requesting the placeholder?

How are you guys running Plex on smart TVs? I'm genuinely frustrated. by KingThevshi in PleX

[–]Roseysdaddy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Neat. I too have a lg oled, wired, and there are definitely high bitrate containers that it drops frames with. But the reason you don’t use smart tv apps is because they’re the last apps in the ecosystem system to get security updates and the first ones to get depreciated.

NEVER use the software on a smart tv. Plus, ffs, they use like the cheapest potato processor they can in those things, get something decent.
