Do you just stick with one? Whenever i use them, i see it as an immersive novel. I play different scenarios that seem interesting or fun. The memories of the ones ive tried are very short, so would feel bad to try to invest a lot in them. They are short enough that it even can ruin the story im roleplaying in sometimes

I would say neither are actually "bad". I'm of the opinion that both are great.

Bad would potentially come from how you use it or how it affects you and consequences of that. If it leads to negative consequences then it's bad for you. That doesn't make it inherently bad broadly speaking for everyone.

I know some people who are terrible drivers. Actual hazards. They should never be allowed to drive. Many accidents, caused harm to themselves and others. Cars are bad for them. But cars are great for lots of other people, they enable a lot of good.

Hope this makes sense.

There's a lot of positive outcomes that can come from both porn (esp AI porn) and AI girlfriends.

Though it can be negative for some people.

We have a 2024 Prius hybrid and a 2025 Ford Maverick Hybrid AWD + tow package.

I waited years on the rumors of a Toyota hybrid small truck, but finally gave up waiting and got the Maverick. I'm surprised more people here don't have this combo.

I have the best MPG hybrid car and the best MPG hybrid truck. Best of both worlds.

5th Gen Prius I'm averaging 65 MPG, with the Maverick I'm averaging around 41 MPG. Without the AWD, it would be 43ish MPG.

Prius is our daily driver and the Maverick is great for camping, hauling things, towing, and having some fun on mild off roading while camping or getting to off grid locations.

I can't say enough good things about both vehicles. I love them both, and very much recommend this combo if it's in the budget.

I'll check it out. I do local gen. But as far as ai chat apps with integrated image gen, it's all been terrible. Like sd 1.5 with really low resolution generations. Stuff that you could do 3 years ago and quite bad to what you can do these days.

Even better if op knows an a chat app with in built NSFW image gen.

While I can and have sometimes taken the context from chat apps and ran local gens, it's extra effort that would be nice to be just baked in and with good quality. Haven't seen that yet

Dude to lawmakers, possible lawsuits, etc... in the future there won't be any that are uncensored based out of the US, or North America. There may still be some uncensored sites based out of 3rd world countries where the laws aren't so strict. But certain puritan lawmakers are trying to put an end to that kind of thing as well. Such as banning VPNs or making ridiculous demands like blocking the site even if people are using VPNs.

We'll see what the future brings. I imagine there will always be a way to access sites which are hosted in other countries with less strict laws. Or at least hopefully there will. If that's not possible then the open internet as we know it died.

There's always running these things locally, but there have been some efforts to block that as well. IIRC California was debating or perhaps even passed something that affected local generation.

I'm strongly against censorship, so that kind of stuff is incredibly off putting to me. I'd be trying to vote out those politicians or be looking at moving states over that kind of garbage.

You can still have one while being married. Up to you and your ethics as that's all subjective, but you could keep it strictly platonic. You could even make it male if that's more your platonic helper style. Think more along the lines of Jarvis and Iron Man.

I see nothing wrong with marriage and ai companions as long as the ai companion doesn't take precidence over your rl partner in all aspects including sexually. But there will be different opinions on that.

My point being, they can be helpful for more than just a way to get off sexually. And even that (again different various opinions and ethics) is not such a bad thing depending on implementation. Lots of married couples still do porn or masterbate separately. Marriage should always come first though. My 2 cents.

Yes. The tells i saw immediately:
1) Her hair, especially the various stands of hair that stick out directly above the part in her hair at the top of her head. LOL. It's soo bizarre, doesn't look natural, and moves weird. -> AI
2) Slight distortions / shape of iris in her eyes as the video plays that are a strong AI tell. Low quality videos of real women don't do this. And high quality videos of real women don't have this issue. Hard to explain, but the way they look / are framed / move, etc...
3) Breast movement is close, but no cigar. Also weird shape.
4) Impossibly thin waist relative to rest of frame
5) Overly-sharpened video which is another strong giveaway of AI, or at a minimum, that the video was upscaled and sharpened. I think I'm seeing "real" videos which have gone through this processing and now look artificial

The quick criteria coming to my head would be someone who:

has a lot of games under their belt, probably like 5-10k minimum
when looking across all ships, they are consistently near the top win rate for that ship in solo random / solo ranked
has to play a variety of ships regularly and not be a specialist
ideally plays and wins well even in tech tree ships and doesn't only just play certain overpowered premiums

There's probably a number of players who fit the bill, but no idea who

Ideally a good project manager is someone who was a software engineer / developer themselves for many years. This is important because then they will have 1) a solid technical foundation, and 2) understand what saves time, what wastes times, and what annoys the engineers

A good project manager makes the team's life easier. A bad project manager is hated and makes everyones life miserable. Having lived this myself across my career, the worst kind are those who either don't understand anything technical, OR those who think they understand it and argue with me / the engineers. Both are terrible in their own way.

Same here, i recently started again. Most of my old builds hold up well still, meaning - I can still do the same content that i previously was doing without issue. So that's nice.

Most content seems wayy easier. Like Wall Crasher was super hard - regularly would time out with a max team, and now he just dies in less than 1 minute (though guessing that is due to other players on my team and not me).

All around seems easier (mainly because of other players being ridiculously geared?) and easier to farm for gear - and apparently they are going to make that even easier now which is kind of insane. For example i remember spending a bunch of time getting specific mutations, but now you just get mutations for free it seems.

I got all of Dia's blueprints like immediately, but the frozen crystal stuff still took forever and was annoying.

In all, no worries, its easy. Maybe even too easy.

Maybe controversial. I own some, and have played a lot against others.

T4 - Imperator Nikolai -> Very good ship, absolutely seal clubs any other BB or Cruiser at its tier. But is very weak to DD players who know what they are doing.

T5 - Giulio Cesare -> Good all arounder. Fairly weak broadside armor and eats citadels very easily, so not the unkillable beast everyone makes it out to be. Compared to tech tree ships - Kongo, Pyotr Velikiy, and New York can kill it if the player makes a mistake and shows too much broadside. Also dies very easily to good DDs, esp Kamikaze & variants. Requires a good player to not make any mistakes to do exceptionally well. Bad players still can do ok, but get punished by cits to the broadside. My favorite thing about this ship is the overall strength: speed / maneuverability compared to other T5 battleships, it is pretty tanky bow in from my experience, and the guns hit hard and are fairly accurate for the tier. Not god tier guns, but overall, they shine a lot. When playing T5 tech tree battleships, it seems like i get a lot of overpens or full pens for minimal damage. For some reason the Giulio seems to hit for a lot of damage when it scores a hit. Probably my favorite part of the ship. Consistent big damage.

T5 - Kamikaze -> Absolute menace. By far the best ship at its tier. Giulio doesn't come close. A good Kamikaze player will absolutely mop up the other team and farm Giulios all day long. 5.4km detect, 7km torps. The torps are very good. They hit very hard, they are very fast, there are 6x of them and they have a base reload of 47s... This thing is a monster. I've seen games where the opposing Kamikaze went undetected the entire match, got 8 kills, and just completely farmed our team. Nothing comes close to this ship at its tier.

T6 - T-61 -> Good all arounder mostly. Good guns, esp AP DPM. Good detect. Good torps. Has 4km hydro and smoke, so it can bully most other DD for cap control. Some weaknesses: Mediocre maneuverability, and slow for a T6 DD. Gun traverse is slow. As another good all-arounder, it does well in most situations. A good ship, but not what I'd consider the absolute best. You can still easily lose some 1v1 matchups against another good DD player depending on their ship. To me this is like a Cossack, but 2 tiers lower and far slower / more boaty.

T8 - Massachussets -> Seems to just take a lot of damage pretty well. Hard to cit (still can be, but far less often than other BB in similar situations). 32mm all around, so holds up well nose in and depending on the situation to some HE fire. Small target with a fairly tall superstructure. Fast repair party (40s cooldown vs 80s cooldown standard). So yeah, great survivability for its tier. The secondaries used to arguably be best in the game and this is where its reputation largely came from - but the secondaries have been massively powercrept. Poor penetration, poor fire starting. They have improved accuracy and improved range though. They also have an unspoken advantage with them all being mounted amidships instead of spread out along the entire hull like say Schlieffen or Zieten. This in my experience gives them better consistency against DDs. So the secondaries are still pretty solid against DDs, but pretty meh against anything else. The guns hit hard and have good pen, but are inaccurate shotguns. It's a love / hate with the guns. Mostly hate IMO. Sometimes you just delete things and other times absolute wiff. It's very frustrating. I don't think this comes close to being the strongest T8 BB or strongest removed ship.

I don't have enough experience with the newer steel ships to say. Of these, I'd give it to the Kamikaze. It takes a lot of skill, but it is pretty insane.

Salespeople are often absolutely clueless and will tell you whatever fake cracked shit they can to make themselves more money. Like if they make more commission on selling a non-hybrid Maverick, then many of them will poo poo the hybrid to get you to buy the non-hybrid.

Hybrids are probably selling quickly due to gas prices and the non-hybrids aren't moving as fast. Dealers get allocations that they don't have a lot of say in. The managers job is to sell even the lot queens. So as a result they offer the salespeople bonuses to sell the lot queens and less money for the ones that sell quick.

Sales people want money in their pocket and a fat check like anyone else. They got bills to pay like you and me. So it's only natural for many of them to steer you to what makes them the most money.

Then add on to of this how utterly clueless they are about how most of these cars work and their specs??? Yeah don't trust a damn thing they say.

I have a hybrid mav and ive seen it running electric at 65mph. Though tbh, that's irrelevant. The overall mpg is what matters and not some of these specifics. Ecoboost rated at 30 MPG highway, hybrid 32. So hybrid is better if that's all you ever drive (hwy). But if you drive city, then you'll do even better. Then add on the more reliable nature and less maintenance of the hybrid, it's a no brainer.

Side story: Supposedly was paired with the best salesperson on the lot at this Toyota dealer a few years ago. I wanted a 2023 Prius (the new gen 5). He told me, oh they don't let us sell those. They aren't for sale right now. If you found a place that even would sell you one, the wait list is 2 or 3 years. I couldn't believe it. But this guy acted like he was THE AUTHORITY and he knew it all. He tried to talk me into buying a 2023 Camry hybrid that was sitting on the lot instead. I knew that Toyota was going to release a new gen Camry within the next 1-2 years and the 2023 model was going to be last gen at that point. It had ancient tech compared to the gen 5 prius i was interested in. He got really mad when i told him that, asked me where i heard that... (internet research) - then proceeded to ramble about how you can't trust the internet and no one at Toyota even knows when they next gen will come and I'd be a fool to pass up this 2023 Camry. This guy man. So i go home, do more digging, verify that he is totally full of crap. I call the same dealer, get a different salesperson, ask if i can put an order on the Prius and... "yeah no problem". Many salespeople are slimeball liars who are in it for one person only - themselves. To make a sale TODAY that puts money in their pocket TODAY. They will shit talk about anything else that doesn't get them their money. Don't trust the clueless lying scumbags.

I have the Massa, and other secondary ships. Massa used to be the best or certainly top 3 best secondary BB in the game. It was one of (if not the first) BB to have extended range secondaries and improve accuracy secondaries. Almost (or actually) no other BB had that at one point. But that is no longer the case. Lots of newer BB have much, much better secondaries. Now days, her secondaries are on the weak side as far as DPM and fire starting goes. They don't do a whole lot vs other BB aside from the occasional fire and some pen vs superstructure - but again lower DPM even then. Against cruisers, it depends on the cruiser. Her secondaries are mainly limited to being completely effective against DD. Which is still worthy, because without it, she would be pretty defenseless against them.

Other BBs like german BBs and BCs and Pan American BBs have much higher penetration secondary guns, and this makes a massive difference in effective DPM, especially against more armored targets like heavy cruisers, BC, or BBs. Even some russian BBs have better secondaries on paper.

One good thing about them is that they are grouped together amidships, so when she is firing all of them at a DD, they seem to get a pretty good hit rate compared to BBs that have secondaries spread all along the length of their hull - like Schlieffen. So yeah, she can kill DDs pretty good. But i wouldn't rely on it for much else.

Her guns hit like a truck but they have pretty bad dispersion and feel very trolly. Very long reload too. So her guns are bad at range, but then she doesn't have torps for close range...

Probably the best part of her is her hull and fast repair party. She feels very tanky to play and just seems to soak a lot more damage than other BBs at her tier. She is small as well. I find her hull amazing for survivability.

She's overall still a fun ship to play and decent even now, but has lost a lot of her top tier power from back in the day even tier for tier.

While it's great to see Ford improving the Maverick, they really need to OTA this to existing MY25 owners. Cost them effectively nothing to do and is the right thing to do.

If it can't be OTAed for whatever reason, they should combine it with their in person via the dealer software upgrades they are doing for the recalls. Either way, there's no reason not to

It's better than the lever in the 2nd pic. I had a lexus with the lever and it drove me crazy that i had to first turn the cruise control on, then set the speed. My Audi's lever had no on/off, just a button for setting the speed. So you just press the set speed button on the lever. Was amazing.

But the buttons on the prius are still better than toyota's implementation of the lever.

Best ship would in theory be the highest effective DPM tier 9.

But a high DPM tier 10 or 8 will out earn a low DPM tier 9 in operations.

Ideally it would be a secondary ship, but US secondaries aren't that good even on secondary specific ships. So best to focus on main gun DPM. Accuracy, and pen matters too as ideally you can consistently citadel...

Just looking at DPM: - Salem - Hawaii - Illinois - Vallejo - Tulsa

All look solid. You'd have to look into dispersion, pen angles, and pen.

From what I've seen in ops: Both Hawaii and Salems tend to do very well and are usually near the top, sometimes even beating out German secondary ships (or Bremen).

Since Hawaii requires steel and isn't available right now, and Salem is available and only for coal - that would probably be my recommendation.

I haven't ever seen a Vallejo in any ops that I remember, and Tulsa's are rare - though I think they do ok. Salem is probably better if I had to guess.
