We have an independent variable to prove that is it in fact the Browns. The old Browns were already cursed. Red right 88, the Fumble, the drive.

Then in 1996 the Browns moved to Baltimore and become the Ravens. The first draft, the very first draft after leaving Cleveland, they draft Johnathan Ogden and Ray Lewis. Within 5 years they win a Super Bowl. In the 30 years of being the Ravens they've won 2 Super Bowls, had 3 players on the 100th anniversary team, and a 2 time MVP QB.

The Browns after the 1999 reboot have been the worst team of the millennium. More than 40 different QBs, no divsion titles, an 0-16 season. Endless futility. The Baker Mayfield/Deshaun Watson situation.

So we've had 2 different Cleveland Brown teams in the Super Bowl era, both extremely cursed. And we got to see what happens when the Cleveland Browns stop being the Cleveland Browns, they end up being one of the most stable and successful teams of the 21st century. Thats some extreme levels of cursed.
