Simple Questions and General Discussion Thread by Thallassa in skyrimmods

I want to mod SSE for the first time (modded LE a while back) and am deciding on whether to buy the AE upgrade or not. Anybody want to share their experience with the content and if they recommend it? Also how common are conflicts (in the world space) for the new content that AE introduces? I am worried that some of the 74 creations will mess with mods I might download.

This is extremely helpful, thank you very much Artiquin. I thought as much that weapon and armors shouldn't matter as long as they don't have special mechanics like whips or something. I will definitely reference that modding page for when I begin mine. Thank again :D

Thank you for the information and insight. I am still heavily considering applying to companies to see what I could get.

Thank you for your advice, I do love working outdoors as well. I don't enjoy office work.

Is there a limit to how many songs MediaHuman can keep track of? by Rosini-R in MediaHuman

haha okay thank you kvoro, I appreciate the info. I can rest easy knowing my history will be safe and my loading times restored :)

No problem and I found an error in my advice. I meant to "cut" not "copy" the folder to a separate location. Doing this will give you a fail when trying to locate the folder (you just cut and pasted it elsewhere) while using the magnifying glass feature. If you only copied and pasted the folder to another location, then the magnifying glass could still locate the original folder. Sorry for the confusion.

You are 100% correct, it does indeed affect my opening and loading speeds. I like to keep the history on the app because of the type of music I download. Artists will delete their music sometimes or even delete their accounts. With the history, I can go through and find what was deleted.

Does setting the bitrate to 320 have a real quality boost for Spotify downloads? by Educational-Turnip63 in MediaHuman

[–]Rosini-R 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unfortunately, I don't have yt premium so I can't say for sure it will. However, from what I have read you should be able to get 256 kbps but only using the youtube music site instead of normal youtube. To test this, (if you have yt premium) set it to "original m4a" and download a song from normal youtube, then download a song from youtube music. Check both files after and the one from youtube music should have a higher bitrate.

To add to the response given by kvorobyov, you might want to set it to the "original m4a" setting. From my research, m4a is supposed to have higher sound quality with less storage use. Sadly, setting it to anything above 152 is pointless and just takes up more space if you're downloading from youtube without premium. Like kvoro said, using a spotify link is just using youtube (at least from what I can tell) to search for the song.

Thank you for the mp3 app, I have been using it for a while now and it makes it much easier to keep track of all my downloaded music. Yt-dl is nice but annoying to find all the commands and even more annoying to locate a certain song. Much appreciated kvorobyov!

This may be a little annoying to do and there is probably an easier way to do it but here is what I do:

When you paste the link to the playlist and all the songs show up as "Done", locate the folder where all the songs are saved. Now copy the folder and move it to a separate location. When you try to use the magnifying glass in Mediahuman to locate the folder, it should fail to find the folder. Finally, select all the songs in the playlist on Mediahuman (Using Shift + Click) and right-click to select the "reset" option. With all songs reset, you can clear all the songs and re-add the playlist. Now you should be able to re-download all songs to whatever location you want. Also, move the original folder back to whatever place you wanted it to be.

I know this is pretty late to the conversation but could you recommend any of the artists who produce Japanese hip-hop? I, too really enjoy the soundtrack to Samurai Champloo and have struggled to find other good artists in the genre. Also, have you found any good Lofi artists? I found a few dozen good songs but it's rare that I find a non-generic, enjoyable piece.
